M4A785TD-M EVO amd phantom II 955 ati radeon hd 5770 4gb ram hd 1tb 7200rpm The game runs at a decent frame rate, but i notice a drop at the frame rate when some kind of explosion happens, like when grotesque explodes. should this happen with this specs? im a complete noob when it comes to building a pc so please let me know if thats expected or it shouldnt happen etc. | ||

They were planned to be viable only on Normal, but because players were not satisfied with that, they buffed them, so they are very useful in all difficulities, when you are playing solo. Enchantress has awesome CC spells, Templar has nice heals and can be a good tank. I can imagine that when you are playing solo inferno, followers will be very important. | ||

If a monster starts its attack animation, you will take damage when they finish it, no matter how far away your are..... Like I can go up to some zombie that takes forever to hit, wait for it to start swinging, then dash 20 yards away and I will still take damage from all the way across the room. Thats absolutely retarded and completely negates and sort of attack dodging, especially for melee characters. wtf? | ||

No it is part of the anti-kite measures Blizzard took to ensure statistics like dodge meant something, and also to prevent exploits in the lagless combat system. Otherwise you could just shimmy and dance all day long and no monster could touch you. Or they would have to do away with the current lagless attack system. Its also not quite as sob3k says. You can dodge attacks but you do indeed have to be very far away. | ||

You can dodge attacks but you do indeed have to be very far away. Its a very poor solution in my opinion, if they want a monster to hit you when you're moving they should give the monster a fast attack animation with very little backswing or fast movespeed to catch you....just like in D2. Even running past cave leapers or something they would easily whack you, but for a slow ass zombie with a windup like DK you could easily back up and dodge. The new system is just bizarre. | ||
