Oh my god I`m so relieved right now :D...It`s like their trying to teach their fans that played D1 and D2 how to play the game they bought. The calculator has a small bug with selecting your first skill for some reason but you can assign those skills together so have no fear. Nightmare is for level 30-50 so your level 13 character wouldn't be able to get past the gate at the beginning if it was available. Beta is only 1/3rd of Act 1 so there is plenty more story left. You should have all of the waypoints by just running around, there is nothing hidden that you don't get to by playing through the story. Yeah you can overide it in ame with by selecting elective mode in the options... Tbh it's not intuitive at all for someone that doesn't know about this option, even the name is a bit weird. Imo, selecting elective or not should be a popup when you create your character, like pro tooltips. | ||

There is no way they can give us the higher difficulty settings unless they let us create characters that started around level 30 or so. The good news is that they'll be unlocking all of the difficulty settings....on May 15th when it's released. | ||

This translates to harder gameplay though since you can't power level and go item hunting in areas above your current capabilities. It will generally be harder since you'll likely have to replay many zones for gear before you can safely move to the next act /difficulty. Also, there might not be a RMAH for hardcore, so you may not be able to easily purchase uber gear | ||
