Have you played it past the 30 minute tutorial on the first of four difficulties in the first act?

Are the mac and windows version all in one disc or do they sell it separately for each OS?

Hey guys, I was messing around with the Skill calculator and I noticed something I found disappointing and scary..I am now obliged to have 1 of each kind of skill? So I can`t have vault and Smoke Screen on my DH now? ): Hope I'm wrong..

Oh my god I`m so relieved right now :D...It`s like their trying to teach their fans that played D1 and D2 how to play the game they bought.

Are the other difficulty settings available? I only seem to get normal mode, I cleared the story with multiple chars already.
Also, is anyone willing to share the new area waypoints with me?

the beta only includes the first 30 min of act 1 in normal - -;;

You can still select any skill you want. I'm not sure what you are doing but I was able to do it fine. The calculator has a small bug with selecting your first skill for some reason but you can assign those skills together so have no fear.

No, only Normal is available. Nightmare is for level 30-50 so your level 13 character wouldn't be able to get past the gate at the beginning if it was available. Beta is only 1/3rd of Act 1 so there is plenty more story left. You should have all of the waypoints by just running around, there is nothing hidden that you don't get to by playing through the story.

Liberation Day on Casual difficulty was definitely a good way to determine how easy All In on Brutal was going to be.

Yeah you can overide it in ame with by selecting elective mode in the options... Tbh it's not intuitive at all for someone that doesn't know about this option, even the name is a bit weird. Imo, selecting elective or not should be a popup when you create your character, like pro tooltips.

No, though you could try hardcode mode. There is no way they can give us the higher difficulty settings unless they let us create characters that started around level 30 or so.
The good news is that they'll be unlocking all of the difficulty settings....on May 15th when it's released.

Is Hardcore mode actually more difficult or just the same with a mortal character?

It's the exact same except you only get 1 life. Hardcore also has a separate stash, auction house, artisans, and gold than normal/softcore.

Same difficulty but mortal.
This translates to harder gameplay though since you can't power level and go item hunting in areas above your current capabilities. It will generally be harder since you'll likely have to replay many zones for gear before you can safely move to the next act /difficulty.
Also, there might not be a RMAH for hardcore, so you may not be able to easily purchase uber gear

If you have a different level available, do share.
