![]() Really wish I had gotten it day 1... It's kinda weird how if you didn't bank gold from Garrison / Order Hall missions, and you didn't sell carries or play the economy (sucking up all the gold from the casuals who banked gold from Garrison / Order Hall missions), then you find yourself pretty damn poor. Like you absolutely have to take gathering professions I think and just sell mats for a while at least. If you get a BoE you have to sell it. You can't buy any BoE's, can't buy potions and flasks, etc. At least the cheap gems and enchants are actually cheap. I guess that's fair but I figured this expansion would have an easy gold farm like missions were before. So I think the weird thing is if they take that away. Maybe it'll come later in the expansion like it did for Draenor and Legion.

With the increase in gold value i'm regretting spending so much in the first 48hrs. Don't think i'l be making gold by the millions again any time soon. I'm glad that the economy isn't driven by automatic mobile-game gold any more though, other stuff can step up to replace it and the cost of everything will adjust after the launch rush. The garrison + classhall billions have created a pretty huge bubble to pop

Just struggling to get anchor weed because its pretty rare (even at rank 3 you only get 3-5 per herb). On my server cluster its 50g per herb, and 500g per anchor weed. Flasks range from 3.5-4k a pop. I feel like raid week will be even higher. With how you can not specifically farm anchor weed as you could do with roses in Legion I suspect prices for all other herbs will stay low or even fall further because they will all be collected while people search for anchor weed which will be the bottle neck.. Maybe if it gets too bad blizz will introduce some vendor where you can trade anchor weed for other herbs or something along those lines, but that would still be far away.

This is exactly how it worked 4 years ago when someone wearing Siege of Orgrimmar gear was wrecking level 90 enemies in Frostfire or Shadowmoon at 90, and then started to have a tough time against level 97 mobs in Spires of Arak at level 97. Higher-level enemies are tougher. Speaking of WOD, i actually didn't have this experience. My quest geared hunter had an easy time leveling. When i hit 100 before i even left the zone i was actually able to oneshot mobs in nagrand with chimaera shot crits, it wasn't a fight at all. Gear just made me overkill them by 5x. My hunter was doing that from dinging level 60 and unlocking chimaera shot all the way through level cap in quest gear and that was just how the game was designed and balanced at the time, extremely low time-to-kill across the board. It was significantly easier than even my geared DH has it in the open world of BFA today. I actually took a video of it at the time because i thought it was ridiculous compared to playing the game in Classic through Cata. I think that's where some of the disconnect is coming from, stuff in general used to be really undertuned in the MOP and WOD era to the point where blowing up a mob in a few globals could be considered normal in bad gear and taking 10 seconds to kill something - even in quest gear - is really odd for people who started playing around that time. It's the standard now and it really should be, but a lot of people aren't used to that. With 2 resets of mythic dungeon gear i can aoe pull and blow stuff up in the world without threat of dying and it's about to get way easier with uldir/m+, i think that the current power level is more than fine. The anomalous thing IMO was the complete godmode, pull-30-elites-at-freehold-entrance-and-eyebeam-them-down level of power that we had for those first 6 levels; i've never been that OP before.

Duplicative Incineration (Mage) damage reduced by 50%. Galvanizing Spark (Mage) Arcane Blast damage increase reduced by 10%. High Noon (Druid) damage reduced by 52%. Inevitable Demise (Warlock) no longer erroneously increases Drain Soul damage. Judicious Defense (Paladin) fixed an issue causing this trait to display two separate buff icons. Pressure Point (Monk) damage for Brewmaster reduced by 60%. Damage for Mistweaver reduced by 28.5%. Revolving Blades (Demon Hunter) now reduces your next Blade Dance by 3 Fury per enemy struck (was 5). Seismic Wave (Warrior) damage reduced by 58%. Shrouded Suffocation (Rogue) damage reduced by 11%. Fixed an issue that caused this trait's damage increase to fail. Swelling Streams (Shaman) healing reduced by 30%. Unbound Chaos (Demon Hunter) damage reduced by 53% There's a bunch that won't be used much still 'cause they're underwhelming, would like to see them tuned up soonish some trinkets got fixed/buffed as well edit: and they ninja killed the reusable augment runes

There is alot of class variance in this sorta thing, I had exactly that experience as a shadow priest in wod, from spires of arak onward i struggled with single mobs at a time. Leveled as disc this time and it was slow but not hard, but leveling my dk to 120 was like playing an entirely different game, could mass pull and aoe down the whole time and at 120, even in 275 ilvl. They put alot of effort into balancing classes for pvp/dungeons/raids, but theres still massive imbalances in open world content.

Anyway he sounds like a cool enemy, I just hope they don't make horde and alliance work together again because that would be some bs

So far I have just seem some half-serious "oh well she will be Garrosh no. 2", but nothing even remotely specific. Of course there is a reason Saurfang is still alive and in Alliance custody.

Ignore Pain on gcd, Charge/Intercept on gcd, Revenge (one of the few aoe warriors have) is high rage cost now. So typically Im just spamming Shield Slam+Thunder Clap till Revenge can proc and I can start synergizing that with Ignore Pain. It all just feels so clunky and slow. Rolling a WW Monk and the gameplay feels exponentially faster. I also don’t like how the changes feel. However, reading the guide on icy veins helped me abandon what warrior tanking used to feel like, and transition towards a clunkier alternative that still works. Talents help with rage gen, and eventually you can get in a rhythm with shield block and ignore pain that does ok.

On another note I hit exalted 7th legion this morning and unlocked the Dark Irons, man they look metal. The questchain was loooong though. Hope you are all having a great time! I'm loving the expansion so far.
