Looks like m+ is giving 5ilvls higher loot and being significantly easier from 7.3 to 7.3.5

level 10 post-patch will give 915 (935 weekly) and will be as hard around level 12 i think now

levels 11 through 15 might not be fixed to give extra loot for those 11 weeks where 10 is the cap again

They will be alright in high pop times where you have people. If you are on low pop area good luck getting it done in timely manner. I was doing it on PTR for quest and it took me 30 minutes to solo to the last part of the scenario, in which I couldn't complete because its a boss that has 200M hp.

It's a group scenario basically, that anyone can join. Prime time will be fine, off hours might not have much.

It does give a good bit of currency though for your nethershard equivalent, as well as a weekly quest you get too for killing rares.

I'm interested in some of the other stuff, achievements for killing thousands of lesser/greater demons etc

I've been playing veng a bit more, they seem pretty good in dungeons because of damage, utility/speed and multi target scaling but not great for raid survivability

I think it's missing something impactful like +50-100% healing on soul cleave, that's an ability that is more focused on fewer targets / ST survivability and it's also required to trigger the t20-4p which is mostly considered to be a dead bonus atm. T19 is similar and lower ilevel so most run the 2p-20 and nothing else, leaving a bit of a hole here.

Soul cleaving to trigger the 4p can be a very short term gain if you need to survive the next melee hit but causes a disruption to resources and defensive buffs that takes a while to recover from and is too big to justify using outside of that situation. With a large healing buff it could become the optimal defensive play but people would still turn to spirit bomb when looking for DPS and/or multi-target

Veng used to be known as more of a healing tank than straight mitigation and that's flipped around with the reworks and seemingly unintended weakness of soul cleave defensive play

I am not sure how the BrM one is pulling data, but right now T20 for brm is a lot of self healing. Also if it counts celestial fortune as BrM self heal then that is entirely based on healers healing them.

Would be good to see veng a little higher up, seems like if you do too much though you can get a lot more out of spirit bomb on top of soul cleave.

Spirit bomb and soul cleave compete strongly with each other for time and resources, that's why soul cleave vanished overnight when spirit bomb was buffed

Even after repeated nerfs it's better at soul cleave's niche (ST survivability) than soul cleave is and that seems to be more because soul cleave is bad rather than spirit bomb being OP for keeping a VDH alive - spirit bomb is great at other stuff and thematically suits other tasks more.

With the pic i mainly meant to show that BDK is obviously a healing tank while VDH isn't any more, i don't know too much about all of the tank specs to say other stuff

I am 100% for it, we needed edginess to balance out the awful campiness of the heart of light. I am really happy they subverted our expectations there. Them bringing Illidan back is really good because the main characters are way too cooperative, imo. Warcraft needs more depth with characters with conflicting goals and ambitions.

I don't really think Ill-dog has been very controversial this expansion, and anything he has done has been swept under the rug because "The Legion is bad and he is fighting them, so he's okay."

Weekly chest was changed/fixed so that it has good chance to warforge now

previously i think the system in use would look at the item, like say a 910 from a level 15, roll titanforge, if the upgrade was +20ilvls or less then it would get locked to 930. If it was +25ilvl (rare) only then would it go to 935, 5ilvls over the baseline

since change it seems to be treated as if 935 is the base level so a +20 warforge roll will give you a 955 when we would have got a 930 from the old chest

I was expecting Argus to run poorly like some other recent zones, am pleasantly surprised there. A lot of time around 200fps (dipping towards 100fps rather than 50) in the outdoor world and have not found any bad areas or spell effects that eat 80% of the FPS yet. Doesn't look like an accident with how big the difference is - like they derped hard on the expansion launch, fixed some of it over time and then made much better choices with the new zones

I like how Illidan was pretty straight forward to not wanting what she was giving him. He understood after his lifetime what sacrificing who he was for power made him. He didn't want to keep doing that. I think it shows that he is more willing to be flexible now than he was in his youth. When he was young he would have sacrificed anything to get the job done.

Very similar to Khadgar in the Karazhan cutscene with the book that the Medivh spirit/Dreadlord tried to get him to use. Although Khadgar has never really been down the path Illidan has for sacrificing a lot to gain his power, he understands the nature of what this much power can do to someone.

Yup like every time he is mentioned it is about justifying him and showing what a poor unsung hero he is that sacrificed so much to do what is actually right etc. Which is also why I dont get how anyone could expect this recurring theme to change and have him turned light or something.

I am annoyed by all this self-pitying sacrifice talk the Illidari have always going and get all smug about how much more they sacrifice like its some competition. It is the epitome of annoying edgyness.
Seems more like they do what they actually like to do and be powerful bad-asses. And when Illidan was asked to actually sacrifice something that is important to him, his own freedom, he denied it of course.
