I've rarely seen a craze from top guilds to find a specific class like they are currently with Shadow priests in a loooong time. And it's even more visible because SP is pretty damn hard to play in Mythic raiding environnement.
Some guilds are almost begging to find some.

They are getting massive buffs for regular gameplay and will most likely be pretty good overall but s2m is basically gone right now so they will be just another ranged dps. Sure you want them, but you dont want to stack 5 like you want to right now.

S2M was pretty broken at high levels though.

Trying to do proving grounds for some nice gold medals on my DK, but the large casters melee me for 1 million... more than double that of the large melee mobs.
DPS was still as faceroll as ever though.
Nothing is impossible, only some things for some people.

And here are the big ToV nerfs

Odyn
Reduced the damage of Shatter by 25% on all difficulties.
Reduced the damage of Stormforged Spear's tank hit by 25% on all difficulties.
Reduced Odyn's health by 10% on all difficulties.
Reduced Hyrja and Hymdall's health by 20% on all difficulties.
Hymdall and Hyrja now once again leave the arena at 85% on Heroic difficulty during Stage 2.

Guarm
Reduced Health by 10% on all difficulties.
Reduced damage dealt by Headlong Charge by 10% on all difficulties. This change does not apply to Trample.
Reduced damage dealt by Flame Lick on impact on Mythic difficulty by 5%.

Helya
Reduced the health of several enemies in the Helya encounter in Trial of Valor on all difficulties.
Reduced the number of Taint of the Sea debuffs applied to players on Mythic difficulty by 1.
Reduced the damage of Tainted Explosion on all difficulties.

Well dps check on guarm basicly stops existing. If you can sort out dispels to live through all 3 charges, it will die with those nerfs.

What are all those "890+ looking for +12 key" groups in finder on a monday/tuesday. Surely they are not farming +12 for the AP and surely if they were any decent they would have gotten their weekly run done with their own key by now.
Also, how is this shit balanced:

That legendary is getting a pretty dramatic buff next patch due to the Blind Fury talent becoming relevant (instead of too bad to justify using even with legendary). If you have enough mobs grouped up close enough to comfortably reset then it's insanely good, it just needs very specific conditions to work well. Because of that it's generally considered to be one of the mediocre legendaries that people are not happy to get, probably 4'th on the power list behind AOTHG, Cini and Stabilizers.

It was a ~5% buff to the total damage of my EN normal clear yesterday which included a ton of eyebeams and resets on trash but most of that buff came from the trash rather than actual boss fights. More useful in dungeons, particularly as the pulls get bigger but of limited usefulness for 1chest runs, it's excellent for 3chesting.

Also note that it's partially due to padding/resets on the extra adds that you can pull with the boss, the ones that he usually kills after a short dialogue if you don't pull everything instantly

and surely if they were any decent they would have gotten their weekly run done with their own key by now.


It didn't happen to come up during farm for me so i left it to the last 2 days. I rarely use my own key as well for any purpose, can always find a more appropriate one with a few minutes in finder. If it rolls a few specific dungeons then great, most of the others maybe you can 5 man those instead of playing with a PUG etc but no need to ever do halls of valor / brf teeming necrotic

Reduced the health of Bilewater Slime, Night Watch Mariner, and Helya by 10% and Grimelord by 15% in the Helya encounter in Trial of Valor on all difficulties.

Lets see if those nerfs are enough to triple (and more like 30x in the case of Helya) the amount of kills in the ~2 weeks of raiding left till Nighthold.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Yea we won't be able to make much use of those nerfs due to christmas. Even if we got a lot of nolifers like me, there's too many people who can't make the christmas time raids. Oh well, guarm before huge nerf and only helya up from this tier is a lot better than we usually do.

Random note, Veng DH's have more armor than i realized. If i understand correctly, having double armor in meta actually means taking ~1.7x less physical damage than on the live server with my current gear ;0
