EPTOne or more of these guilds could have killed it without the bug but we're talking about people who pulled the boss 300+ times here. A lot of people put a lot of hours into the race in a legit way for those world rankings.

Im not sure what your trying to point out, there is no excuse for anyone cheating I dont think anyone disagrees with you there, only 1-2 guilds clearing content on multiple resets was pretty normal till the end of BC. People were stuck on Mu'ru for weeks and he wasnt even last boss. If you put the hours in you deserve it, if you put the hours in and resorted to cheating while others kept plugging away you should be punished. | ||

No reply or action? | ||

The boosting stuff is a real problem IMO, we have guilds in the top 10 of the world openly advertising that they're selling content for real money and most others doing it behind closed doors legendary softcap has also been gaining discussion for a while, especially in top guilds with lots of highly active players. I think that there's a very solid chance that it's legit and unintentional, just another bug in the system that should be verified and fixed ASAP if true (the statistics have not made sense for weeks and it's getting pretty damning) | ||

The problem comes when some people do 400k DPS, others do 480k because of DPS legendaries and the boss hard enrages, oneshotting everyone. Prydaz 30% shield won't save you there; A Prydaz +200% shield wouldn't save you either. The only thing that could really help is if these legendaries let you run with 1 less healer but that's dubious at best - running 4 healers instead of 3 gives 1.33x HPS and CD's; running 16 DPS instead of 15 gives ~6.25% more damage. That's a tradeoff that is hard to make. | ||
