and i'm just now hearing about DH's being able to equip full mastery gear, hit chaos blades and swap out to actual gear at 1s before pull to do way more damage in the opening because of the buff being snapshotted on use. I'm not sure of exact numbers but this could be like 1.25x more damage in the first 10-12 seconds, it's not small.

There's some discussion at the moment about the world #1 and #2 guilds (the only ones to kill Helya without breath exploit) using a shadow priest exploit to increase damage output. Aparantly a priest from Serenity has streamed the exploit and openly admitted to it

Yep it's only Viklund who did it, don't even know why he bothered really, like he said it was at rather useless point. And now that it's fixed a whole new set of bugs affecting insanity drain etc appeared. I honestly wish they remove whole fucking insanity together next exp, don't have to bother about latency and bugs affecting it.

It's a damage boost on progression race, if it's more than "creative use of game mechanics" then it's fair game for temp ban IMO. Honestly with the way TOV has gone i think there could be harsher penalties.. little bit too much joking about exploits and minor bug abuse going on. The guilds that got free top 100 Odyn kills because of one of the bugs on the fight just killed the boss and nobody gave it a second thought, why?

No patch notes like they often don't publish for these kind of things. I mean it was reported in alpha/beta already but only now fixed, can't do it anymore.
Because exploits, clever use of game mechanics, Blizz pushing untested bosses into game has happened since Vanilla. That's why top guilds used the exploit because usually Blizz does let bug abuse go on. And every now and then they ban like they did now.

It is kinda funny though how people from top guilds are apparently always complaining about content being too easy but if it is a little harder they try to abuse stuff at every opportunity. Overall Blizz deserves to be criticized for the amount of bugs though.

That is the mentality they have though. Look for every advantage for a fight to progress/kill it. If Blizzard released content that people had already reported bugs on, that is their own fault, not the raiders.
A lot of people stated some of the bugs that were pushed to live were reported in PTR and they didn't fix them. I don't even blame the raiders for using this stuff if it was found, reported, and Blizzard did nothing. I understand some of the bugs are pretty crazy (Helya breath bug), but in the end this was talked about by the top end guilds and ignored by the Devs.
It sucks they got banned, but really why is Blizzard putting out this content if they aren't listening to feedback about bugs. You could further this to much of the class feedback as well atm, because Blizzard clearly did not listen in Alpha/Beta/PTR for a lot of class feedback and is now reworking quite many classes because they didn't listen.

Not just beta/ptr testing but also live servers. Several of the worst bugs were straight up happening on normal and heroic mode as well for a week before mythic was enabled

Hmm just did a +7 neth lair where the tank didn't know how to AM any boss abilities, i was under the impression tanks/healers generally had to know what's up but guess not

I just had EoA +7 where tank went offline after first 2 bosses. Finished regardless with rogue tanking mostly. :D

I'm a couple dungeons off 35/25 and relaxing a bit til higher AK's.
ak25 is ~5.38x faster than ak17 and i was able to sustain 100k/hr over a day at ak17 so bursting some AP before nighthold comes out should be relatively doable. Bruteforcing it now is a huge amount more work for minimal gain but maybe appealing to some on TOV M progress.

I'm sitting at 31/29/29 ( BrM/WW/MW) Kinda sad that the 35th point for all tanks is 10% armor. That's really fucking meh for Brewmaster. Basically not even a 2% reduction in overall damage received.
Might have found a new guild as a healer, so catching up my MW wep. I guess I'll have questions sometimes for you Nony. lol

My monk isn't that high yet on AP. Only 22/22 Brm/MW. I dont really WW but I am sure Ill give it a thing eventually for like 13 points lol.
It does kinda suck that 10% armor because we have so little, but were basically indestructible in most fights so I don't mind.

Yeah but AK15 on my monk (who is my alt). I have not put really any time into it and I dont think its a major thing for me atm.
I haven't had issues tanking for groups that ask me to, but I haven't really done much for tough content on my monk (H EN is about it, and the odd M+5 or M+6)
