The crazy number bloat already in action. We've already tripled the amount of dps a raid toon can do vs someone just starting 5 mans and this was only tier 1 without set bonuses and shit trinkets.

At the end of Legion, we'll do 20 times the dps a starting character can do and it's like there'd be a 15 level difference for characters.

Personally I'm used to working with numbers like 1x10^-13 through 6x10^23 due to work, but I didn't think that experience would pay off in my off-time gaming :p

In all the frenzy about blizzcon I just now noticed that the hotfix on Thursday increased random normal dungeon XP by 150%. I wonder if that's enough to make it worth spamming them while leveling up on tanks/healers? Hmm

Completed my my first +11 at 2 hours and 15 minutes with teeming, necrotic, tyrannical at the Arcway, all in a pug. We only managed to finish because one of our two DHs had a good tank off spec for the fel lord boss because our tank couldn't shake his necrotic stacks.

I don't think that the amount of bosses is a big problem as long as you can handle them all - a few are insanely hard with melee compositions and necrotic+tyrannical

Is the chance to get another legendary lowered a lot after getting your 2nd? Just wondering if I should continue to farm M+ since my legendaries are kinda bad.

As you play the game and fail lots of legendary chances your chance seems to increase quite dramatically (think ~2-5x more likely per chest or kill).

That has the effect of making you notably less likely than average to get another one shortly after getting a legendary but notably more likely than average if you didn't get one after a normal amount of attempts. AFAIK that effect is consistent no matter how many legendaries you have

Really excited to see all the stuff from the 7.15, 7.15 news. All my hunter friends are happy they're getting their traps back.

Is there fun utility stuff you guys think your class needs back?

The example they gave besides the trap was Rogue's shroud coming back in 7.15.

Also excited for them continuing the order hall campaign. Really loved the DK storyline.

For the complete butchering of shadow :D having attempted S2M this reset on farm and alt raids, I can say that the talent promotes cancer play so much it's horrible. It's quite fun actually doing the surrender part, but my god, any other time outside that is so much shit fail. It's like being a fire mage who never gets to rune of power, absolutely horrible.


Why is it that blizzard has to base shadow gameplay on some really dumb gimmick each expansion? I mean, I guess this is still better than dotweave in draenor, but my god, 2 out of 3 playstyles are complete dead ends currently and the one viable is the most punishing and hardest to time in the game, because your timing will change every reset.

I dont like surrender either. I like the basis voidform wave kind of play where you build up to voidform and then hang on as long as possible but Surrender just dials it up to 9000 and the scaling means you are useless the entire fight and then go off at the end, yet even the tiniest of mistakes will completely ruin you.

Its not fun to do over and over again.

I hope they can change us so that the base shadow playstyle does competitive damage and just remove StM because I don't think they can balance around it. Its scaling is just to damn powerful combined with Mass Hysteria (artifact trait).

They're looking towards letting players target legendaries better, which will help with concerns of loot specialization controlling legendary drops' specialization.


With Nighthold 2 months out there's a lot of pressure to get "that good legendary" for progress - i wonder how soon they plan to implement changes. A decent fraction of classes have 15%+ ST DPS gains gated behind legendary RNG right now and you can't reasonably farm enough to overcome it through raw playtime

Tired of the pug system being elitist and only looking at ilvl and achievements. Has somewhat given a bad taste in my mouth. Traumatised with the amount of bad players that exist.

I do emissary every day and between 3 to 5 Mytrhic+ per day. Full heroic and normal clear of EN, few Mythic bosses.
Been a month and a half since I got Sephuz as my first legendary, this is getting quite ridiculous. Especially since I kinda want a lot of them because I play all 3 montks specs a lot and wouldn't mind some spec specific leg.

Ugh.
Know the worst feeling ever ? Being one of the best player in your dps comp in raid and dropping places because the others guys got their +20% ST damage legendaries. Feels really fucking discouraging.
What's the point of even trying to out perform yourself when the DH you were destroying last week is now 20k ahead because he got his havoc ring ? Or when you actually had fun trying to keep up with your raid best Shadow Priest but now he has the Belt for the 3 Mind blast and just cruise through your efforts.

God I'm salty tonight. WW Monks don't even have that kind of dps boosting legendary without having to play stupid games with Touch of Karma.

I've basically stopped playing for the reason you said. Im top 4 in DPS like 90% of the runs I get into but its just not that many. I'd totally be down if its at a good time.

If they were to remove StM, they need to at least make movement while in voidform baseline. It's just too much fun being taken away to straight up remove it.
