I've been playing Demon Blades and it actually worked out pretty well in raids. The thing that bothers me the most is just that sometimes for whatever reason (bad luck on the high proc chance, missing the boss?) the optimal thing to do is to stand there and autoattack the boss for a large amount of time (over 10 seconds?) with your hands off the keyboard and that's quite unintuitive | ||

All the good players who prepared for weeks to power up their characters for Mythic EN got 1-2 days of raiding before that was on farm. Even if Nighthold turns out to be much more difficult than EN, you'll have plenty of time to power up for it and clear it on Mythic before more content comes out. By working hard to power up one character now to prep for Nighthold, you're spending time farming so that you can get Nighthold on farm sooner (and miss out on being forced to play better during Nighthold because your higher numbers are a handicap). You might have more fun now by experiencing the content again with a new class and a properly tuned character. If you really like farming and empowering one character so that you can farm more then that's cool but I'm surprised if a lot of people prefer that over playing properly tuned content. edit: I definitely get enjoying smashing content after working hard to clear it the first time but it seems like some people are taking it way too far, like Mythic raiders doing LFR. | ||

#1 guild on my server is a bunch of russian dudes who transferred here a few weeks ago, they raid 7 days a week and publically advertise their real-money boosting services #2 and #3 guilds are 4-day guilds that require high geared+skilled alts and are looking for ranged only #4 guild is a maybe but i don't particularly like the people #5 guild - 4 day, require geared+skilled alts - definitely not because of a massive amount of drama over the last year that goes all the way up to a bunch of people from my current guild jumping ship to them on reset day after planning for a while w/ their officers which just led to guild disband There's a decent amount of choice between #6 and #14 or so, but these are all people who are on dragons & eye (boss 4 and 5) with a few reaching the massive roadblock at cenarius. Some may be cutting edge tier, many are not. | ||

That's not really serious mythic raiding but when i look up at other guilds that don't have these players in, the vast majority of them seem to have those requirements that i dislike (4 day+ raiding, mandatory splitruns etc) so it's quite hard to clear the content without giving in to those demands 390 guilds are 7/7 1776 guilds are 4/7 or higher Having that solid top tier gear will at least contribute towards progress and make it a lot easier to pick a guild that has both the progress and the atmosphere that works well for me. | ||

Not that we're hardcore, because we're not, but this expansion we are taking raiding more seriously than ever for the days we raid on. Don't require alts and split runs or any of that nonsense. | ||

They're not the first to fall victim to the "oh nvm the quest wasn't in the game yet the whole time lol" and probably not the last as there's another one or two unfound weapons. This is coming at the same time that overwatch devs did a countdown timer to a countdown timer that had nothing happen when it hit 100% after a month or two? Yeah we just cleared 7/7 H this week too. Not sure if we'll be doing Mythic at all. Sometimes we have 20 people sometimes we don't so maybe. Our other arms warrior got the bis legendary gloves last week, which is a little unfortunate since I beat him pretty consistently. So I'm a little jealous haha. | ||

10 this week was kinda easy, we did BRH Final boss almost killed me through my shields and Pain Supression with his first Shadowbolt Volley tho. | ||
