Nop! Blizz confirmed some details recently after constant speculation due to lack of information
That bug was weird, it only affected a fraction of people with legendaries if blizzard is to be believed and i saw a number of screenshots with people looting multiple legendaries back to back from bosses or even getting their second and third legendary in the same loot window so it wasn't just "if you get one, you probably got another 2 weeks later"

i'm still managing 5% simdps upgrade week per week but it's getting very hard to sustain, that relic saved me this week :D
Some concern about the demon blades rework - demon blades has substantially better scaling than demon's bite, giving me ~13% more DPS per point of secondary stat which means that it's already overtaken bite by a percent or two and can swing to 5% or more in the lead with certain good gear. In the future it could be a lot more without a rework or nerf, so i'm wondering when and if that is coming; if i should get used to a playstyle that i dislike so that i can use it when it's a 5-10%+ DPS gain or if i can just pretend that it doesn't exist and be fine because it'll be nerfed before it's an issue (rather than afterwards?)
DB might be more enjoyable after the change. I actually hate mashing 222222222222222 with 0.75 second GCD's so maybe..
yea, besides both skittish and necrotic are 7+ modifiers so only one of them can be active at a time. I prefer teeming skittish or even bolstering necrotic over this week. fuck this week. im just waiting for the sweet american streamer tears in 2 weeks when they have it.
Necrotic in general just has a large effect on clear times
did spider boss in arcway necrotic tyrannical with a 100% melee group and for a while we were not even sure that we would be able to kill the boss at all
Blink strike 100-0's you if it hits you a second time, web chain takes at least ~1.4m hp from both players, clouds spawn all over melee and the add spawning every 20 seconds complicates the necrotic stack dropping. On top of that the uptime on boss is bad enough for it to just not die on tyrannical (4m34s on the kill with one DPS dead in the last 1/3'rd)
Random note - warriors, paladins, druids and monks can taunt in DPS and even healing specs but DH cannot taunt unless they're in tank spec. Since DH is the sole exception it seems like it might even be an oversight rather than intentional design decision? If it's intentional, i'm curious as to why
------
@ Demon blades change - i've seen a bit more discussion on the subject now and although blizzard said that it wasn't a buff, many people are reporting some DPS gains (low single digit %). I've seen some comments describing huge gains (+15% DPS) with the fury legendary as well - not because the activations per minute has changed, but because you were previously forced to waste a ton of fury procs in the bank and you no longer have to waste them so there is a fairly dramatic increase in available fury.
If those gains are real then that legendary may have just become obscenely good instead of just pretty good.. over a 1.2x damage multiplier for ST in one passive slot. Is it intentional though? There's not much dialogue here, i wasn't aware of the change until mere hours ago and it seems that most people thought it was a bug right up until patch day. It's not clear that blizzard expected any DPS or legendary effectiveness change at all.
some dungeons are just way harder - the affixes for eu are straining bad tanks too regardless of the dungeon. did not clear 10 in time this weak cuz of it
I'd imagine one of the bosses gives him trouble because those affixes aren't really that hard apart from Tyrannical, maybe smash guy hits too fucking hard/takes too long (I heard he can be a problem actually).
Issues like that are still far easier to deal with than being one shot at any time to a boss ability or the hardest boss in the game currently, Wrath of Azshara on tyrannical.
EoA is actually the one I did this week for my +10 haha. My group got 2 HoV keys and 2 EoA keys at which point we decided to just give EoA a shot before getting our last key to +10. We two healed the final boss because we didn't have the most all-star DPS to kill it before our healer went OOM. It still took us 4 pulls or so, but honestly it was one of the most fun encounters of the expansion. We were all Wildstar players and it reminded us a lot of Wildstar, as far as having a lot of chaos going on around you and stuff to dodge and improvising coordinated movements etc.
I wonder if we would have encountered the same lack-of-DPS issue in BRH.
The one time I tried tyrannical Wrath was when our grp setup was 2 boomkins, a lock, tank and me. Needless to say, our dps was dogshit with 3 casters who need to keep moving and solo healing was more than just a little bit of painful. Best we got was 1% on it on a good try, we were there over 2 hours before we had to give up. With an arms warrior or something it would have died for sure.
I do not want to even imagine that boss at tyrannical +15 as solo healer.
Yeah that sucks. We had a shadow priest and ret paladin, but we weren't waiting for lust and surrender to madness for every attempt for the spriest. I think on the kill they were like 230k and 280k dps. Long fight. I ended at 374k hps and I think the fight was around 4 mins
sidenote: Frost DK does some real DPS now. Soooooo much better rotation and performance.
My friend runs Frost DK in dungeons and it was already really good, just average ST
Think its definitely the prefered spec for dungeons right now, i'd wish they'd lower the damage and CD of the Frost Wyrm though, its so powerful but it feels like the CD is just way too long.
too bad DK's don't offer much apart from.......dmg and CR(which sucks as we run with 2 DKs normally).
Yeah, they didn't touch the cleave build, but they buffed single target build. I'm probably not gonna take Frostscythe in dungeons anymore though, unless some big trash packs are really important, because the singlet target build is really strong now and has decent cleave too.
