Time to start the patented TL-analysis of flash games: Seems like it is really important to line up nice landings to get height. What should you do in the air for maximum point? I'm having some problems to get the tailslides, what is the trick? | ||

Tailslides: you have to be almost parallel to the water surface, then just press "down" and he'll do a tailflip, release "down" or start doing some other trick to fly up in the air. Also, do not swim in the water for too long after landing or the combo will be over. | ||

![[image loading]](http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/5647/2miljonaco2.jpg) The reason I got such a high score was that freakish tailslide right at the end, since the game doesn't end until both the timer reaches 0 AND you are in the water, so what you should do is build up one heck of a combo, then land right before 0:00 and start a tailslide -- the higher you went during your combo and the more speed you built up, the longer that tailslide will be, the more points you will get for it and the higher the multiplication factor will be. If I had failed that tailslide I would have around 600k, no more. | ||

 Don't forget to use as many corkscrews as you can, you need them, especially since you won't get as high jumps without a tailslide. | ||

Ah i get it now: you just have to be out of the water quickly again. However, my computer isn't too fast, delaying framerate (defining dolphin speed), but not the timer, which runs at normal speed. So it's impossible for me to ever make it out of the water before that little time-period runs out. Well programmed guys^^. | ||

I think its depth based on how high you went, but I'm really not very good at this. Still though, you can make the combo go away very quickly if you dive right down after entering the water, which leads me to my conclusion. Edit: and what I'm meaning to say is that, while there is a time limit on the combo, the depth limit is what is more confusing to beginners, because they see their combo disappear for no apparent reason (it was confusing to me, anyway) | ||

Btw 2 tricks that add a lot of difference to the multiplier if utilized properly (since not everybody finds them) are the Front and Back Rewinds - half loop forward, half backward and reverse (no screwdriver during it!) - since the multiplier is x+(1/n), n being the number of times the trick is performed. Uhh, epidion, how did you manage to get 10mil with such low highest jump (99m is barely past nebulae) and such short tailslide? Did you have like 50x multiplier instead? -Mynock | ||
