I agree but I'd still put him above Roethlisberger.
Flacco does not belong in the Rivers-Roethlisberger tier. I'm not even sure I'd put Wilson there considering he's a completely different QB and we've all seen what happens when the Seahawks rely on him more than Lynch.
You're right, I was thinking I was forgetting someone but I couldn't put my finger on it. I'd put Romo in the tier 2 category. I think Wilson does belong in that tier 2 category even though his style of play is different. He'd be a leader and win games anywhere even without the Seahawks' defense, albeit probably not as many.
Flacco is kind of in a similar boat as Wilson. He's asked to do maybe less than the other QBs on this list because of the type of team the Ravens are, but he'd improve any team with a QB not on this list and make deep playoff runs on any of the teams with QBs I listed. He's definitely top 10, and on par with a Rivers or Roethlisberger.
Eli's had a horrible supporting cast since his last Super Bowl victory. We'll see if he can remain "tier 2" this season with a healthy OBJ and a retooled o-line (the Giants drafted an offensive lineman in the first round, right?). I'm not ready to write him off yet.
Concussion problems. Not everybody can be George Foreman you know. it took sid crosby more than a year to recover from a head trauma that can't be 1/10th as bad as what NFL linemen experience when they are concussed.
i congratulate him for having the balls to quit and put the health of his brain and mind #1 above the meat grinder of the NFL.

When was the last time that an NFL team was so badly gutted from one season to the next?
Didn't the Colts have a massive roster turnover between 2011 and 2012 more than just adding Luck? I mean it was different circumstances for sure but I thought they changed their team quite a bit

Seahawks too, but it was a positive gutting I suppose? The 49ers aren't going to end anywhere pretty this season for sure.
I really hope Mark Cuban didnt actually talk Russell Wilson into joining the Dallas Mavericks. Hes short for football let alone basketball. Mabye Wilson could get a better contract with cuban tho.

11th in punter cap hit this year, 6th in 2016, and 3rd in 2015 for a guy who was 6th in the league last year in gross punt distance. I think it's a smart trade.
