Again, the whole premise of this claim that he knew they were doing it illegally is that Brady had texted the equipment guys, and then texted them again after the whole issue hit the news, and texts between the equipment guys talking about Brady bitching about the balls being too hard. That's so far from conclusive. There's a legal range on the balls, and there's nothing in there saying that he said put them below the legal limit.

Billionaires, like any other small segment of human society have their own little unique subculture. Two of the project managers I work for intermittently report to billionaires.... so i only hear the stories 2nd hand. Brady is learning the hard way. These billionaires will run over him in ways he can't even conceive. Brady needs to wave the white flag immediately. the NFL overlords perceive that Tom is standing up to them. Ray Rice did a way better job dealing with his off field issues. Thus, intially, he got much more lenient treatment. Brady should've imitated the Rice strategy. Lay down, provide a full confession, swear total allegiance to the NFL and say you love playing NFL Football more than anything in the world. Brady also needs to ask them what they want him to say publicly and then say it. Brady needs to rat out any one he worked with. If it turns out Uncle Bill is involved that might be a tough thing to do. A Marion Jones style public confession would work wonders for Brady.

The NFL coming down hard on Brady is going to get absolutely hammered in court if they don't reduce Brady's suspension down in a plea deal. I love watching Kessler work. grand-standing and showboating makes a lot of headlines, but i'll take Fehr over Kessler any day. i suspect Don Fehr is too busy to accept new clients. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/11/26/kesslers-removal-from-talks-leads-to-nba-labor-deal/

First of all, because of the CBA, his rights in court will probably be extremely limited (likely, only will be overturned if its considered "arbitrary and capricious"). Second, courts are extremely reluctant to intervene in labor disputes. Lastly, even if he did take it to court, in order to review whether the decision by Goodell meets such a standard would take until next years Super Bowl, if the proceedings were expedited. The hiring is just for him to launch a PR campaign plus try to backdoor the CBA trying to find a way to get some sort of leverage in determining who the arbitrator is, and then skillfully putting the case in front of the arbitrator.

Brady should be avoiding anything public getting out at all any how. The more public he makes this the more the gang of billionaires will eventually screw him over years later.

He's 19-27, 182 yds, and 1 TD in his 3 appearances and the uppers are super high on how he's been progressing. This is in comparison to Geno Smith for the Jets, Matt Cassell or EJ Manuel for the Bills, and Tannehill for the Dolphins. Tannehill is the obvious choice for me but his ceiling is so low...

Tannehill until proven other wise. A league average to above average QB is far far above Cassel Manuel or Smith (lol) and Graps is still rather unproven. If he lights a team up in his first start or two, maybe we can talk about it if hes got more starts after that.

They didn't really lose anything, they will still make the playoffs, he has oodles of money, fame and championships. As Howard Stern said " I sentence you to four weeks of living in a mansion with a supermodel to have sex with" Lol no way the media will ever let this go? DAE SPY GATE? The only way something bigger could come up as far as ESPN and the 31 fan bases that have been getting beat by the Pats for a decade and a half now is another Patriots scandal. Success breeds hatred.

![]() The Wells report notes that not a single measurement of any of the New England footballs reflected a PSI reading of 10.1. In fact, only one measurement of one football was as low as 10.5 PSI. The Wells report also points out that Gardi’s comments about the Colts’ game balls was not accurate... THREE of the four Colts balls tested were UNDER the limit of 12.5 PSI. The Wells report essentially shrugs at these arguably significant misstatements of fact, pointing out that Gardi wasn’t personally at the game (then why did he write the letter?) and that the mistakes were “inadvertent.” Does anyone really think that it gave the Patriots any kind of advantage at all, in any of their games? They trashed the Colts in the second half, 75% of the balls the Colts were using under the limited too. And then they beat the Seahawks anyway. But let's pretend for a second that it matters... just as much as warming the ball matters when the Panthers and Vikings did that during a game... Those two teams only got a warning though, but Tom Brady receives double the punishment that Ray Rice got? And the Patriots lose draft picks? What the hell is going on? Roger Goodell is an idiot.
