So they originally planned for each expansion to be 1.5 years after the original? That was...optimistic.

Don't get your hopes up, PoE sucks ass. They have amazing design ideas, an intuitive yet hardcore skill- and itemsystem and gritty, dark graphics. Yet it lacks in one regard: the gameplay is more than boring, clunky, spammy, it plain sucks. It's as antediluvian as Diablo 2, without the fluidity and "oomph"-factor.

I was able to pick up the gameplay 5 minutes into the tutorial. Shouldnt take more than an hour for new TCG players. I hope this gets big in the TCG community and Im sure Blizzard fans dont mind it. If youre butthurt for some odd reason(you wanted something sc2 related?) its a F2P game you dont have to play if you dont want to stay butthurt because Im very certain this game will be the new TCG we've been looking for(hopefully competitively) Pokemon Yugioh and MTG are getting stale If you dont see this as a big announcement it is. A video game company thats usually buy-to-play is making a competative CARD game that free-to-play. They did a complete 180. keep being butthurt people good job blizzard on taking the risk.

This is a matter of opinion tbh. I find PoE to be the real Diablo3, I even find it more fun than Diablo2 which I played nonstop for years.

Oh well, looks fun either way. People are too fucking impatient and a lot of them have this sense of entitlement, as if Blizzard owes everyone a big, life-changing game. Seriously? Blizzard "back then" made great games, and Blizzard today still makes great games (Okay, D3 was a bit of a flop). But still, people get older and their views change, as do their interests. Blizzard devs are no exception. I'm tired of all these whiny posts about how Blizzard sucks, and their games are bad, blah blah blah, etc, etc. If you don't like it, move along.

But still, I think once the disappointment that it's not some huge revolutionary project dies down, people will see it for what it is: A fun, casual card game that's easy to learn and fun to play. That's it. If you like that sort of thing, or you admire Blizzards level of polish, it will be worth trying. If you don't, no loss. Blizzard haven't abandoned everything else they do, they're just experimenting with smaller projects. The hyperbolic "this is exactly how I felt when my puppy got hit by a car" statements are really entertaining.

It's probably just wanting to keep the amount of platforms reasonable. Windows 7/8 support, Mac support, ioS support. It kinda adds up. Though I do hope for an android releae later.

This announcement felt pretty much like that dream, given that they design a game I could see myself getting into and then announcing it's iOS only. Portable Windows devices are so lackluster right now. ![]()

http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/faq/#q8a I've made the same argument for the HotS portraits, but this is completely unfair. Did Mist of Pandaria beta testers get anything exclusive? No, because that would be outrageously unfair to the several million WoW players that couldn't get in. Because this isn't a serious game, I care a little less than I did for HotS, but it's still not fair.
