I know I'm stifling a laughing snort at least once a week as a result of President Trump. The funny just keeps coming. The American public has certainly picked the funniest option this election cycle.

An added bonus is mocking his particularly electable Democratic opponent, and the people who didn't see why she was so unpalatable to so many people.

The majority of the American public did not, and there are quite a few other (more negative) words I would use over "funniest", although he's certainly a godsend for comedians. Just not for Americans in general.

Trump does not seem to depart even the tiniest bit from his campaign trail persona. I think interesting will be to see how many of his hardcore supporters are happy with this infighting to "stick it to the elites" or if they want to have workable policies at some point. trump's over 70, he isn't gonna change. he is what he is. if there was any chance of change it'd have happened by now. fair chance he doesn't last 4 years of course.

Not just the wiretap (though I suspect that Trump will come out ahead on it if anything comes of it). I'm including the Russian nonsense and whatever other outrage du jour we get from the left.

Such a crap company, knowingly violating the law in so many countries because this investment just has to succeed,no failure accepted. Worth 60b+,based on them being able to violate the law. I hope they go down for this.

It's kind of like we all just forgot that Donald Trump is the guy who "knew" Obama was not an American-born citizen. I've always wondered why Trump was so into the Birther thing. It never occurred to me he might be getting paid to say these things by enemies abroad. I mean, I know he's President, but he is also the most proven liar I can think of. Period. I can't think of any living person who has more documented lies than the person we elected. Which is why I'm at a point now where I'm content with him just being an embarrassment for 4 years. I don't care if he's impeached. I don't care. Let him be President. All 4 years. Because he can brag about Putin's approval ratings and the evils of NATO all he likes -- he can't do shit. His hands have been tied now. The damage he obviously wants to do will never happen. He's an embarrassment, and the GOP Congress will undoubtedly make life harder for those who need help the most. But... well, that's just par for the course. About as acceptable as a GOP Presidency gets in the 21st Century. If he can manage to go through his Presidency without land-invading a country based on bad cherry-picked intelligence, then, hey, it's not so bad.

Ah, yes, how terrible it is that a company is providing consumers with a more positive experience than the monopolization that are Government-licensed cab companies, because before Uber, everyone enjoyed and loved their yellow colored friends. Licensing not only drives up costs for consumers (as does any protectionism), but it hurts a lot of people lower on the socio-economic rung (by making employment more expensive and less accessible).

Well, sure, if you ignore: 1) The billions in losses last year alone... 2) The shoddy loans they're handing out for car purchases... 3) The slashed rider fairs cutting driver income by 25% (give or take)... 4) The false income advertising and non-employer status that they've lost in court for... Uber is basically a company that's banking on driving out the competition before it sinks, so it can drive prices and services back to profitable levels. It's existing right now solely from venture capital investment money.
