I found this hilarious. I was looking at the primary results and noticed that Crooked Hillary only got 101 votes in North Dakota. That's about how many votes she deserves nationnwide. ROFL.

And Bernie got 253, lol.
You do realize it's a caucus state, yes?
Now granted that's a low percentage for her, but Bernie has cleaned up on a lot of the caucuses throughout the campaign. This was basically the 2012 Ron Paul strategy with legs, whereas Ron Paul never really got off the ground.

The only reason Bernie did as well as he did was because it was a 2 person race. If you want to see how Ron would have fared in a head on with Romney look at Virginia from 2012. If the GOP 2012 race was between Romney and Paul, Paul would have done as well or better than Bernie, and that's with a much more hostile media (when they decided not to ignore/marginalize him anyways). When Ron was ahead in Iowa the media went berserk.

Yes.Lets not forget social media and alternate media is far bigger than in 2012 either so he would have been bigger for sure but it's hard to compete with a guy that offers so much "free shit".Thats what the brainwashed American millenials seem to want these days, big gov and handouts.

Hillary Clinton talks about inequality while dressed in $12,500 jacket.

So Clinton got it locked now,it was a formality but still.
The media can now focus for 100% on demolishing trump.
Am reasonably sure they will succeed.

Will be a 1 term presidency. inequality will only grow and with that the dissatisfaction of the people in general with the government in general. After Clinton there is no one on the democratic side, who could follow in her foot steps?
Don't see any reasonable candidate yet. The republicans they have ryan and maybe Rubio as well.
This is sort of a land mark election. Demographics are changing and there is no going back.
Instead of building a wall, they will slowly expand the economic zone they have with mexico. Free travel is the ultimate solution to illegal immigration,by simply making it not illegal anymore.
Corporate America is on board, pressure on the lowest wages will only increase as well as their potential market.

So if you for whatever reason want that wall at your south border, then this is your once in a lifetime chance.
If you don't care for the wall, and care more for globalization and progress of the whole world (to put it nicely) then there is still no hurry or nothing to worry about, there will be plenty opportunities left to come. It will only delay for 4 years.

it's an unfortunate part of a woman running a major campaign. experience says get an image makeover, be more fashionable etc.

kirsten gillibrand had to do the same thing for her senate campaign.

it's the damned if you do, damned if you don't again.

inequality is a problem decades in the making. no easy or quick solutions.

Globalisation?
Is that the thing where companies move manufacturing offshore, pay those workers 1/50th the wage they were paying the Americans and then skip paying their taxes half the time because they're based in Cayman Isl?

Newsflash pal globalisation only benefits the ultra rich and capital holders.American real wages adjusted for inflation peaked in the 70s, the USA has not run a trade surplus in over 40 years, the USA is 19 trillion in debt and you're here telling us plebs that everything is just swell? Hah! Watch and learn kid.

the policy concessions bernie wants:
Campaign aides say that whatever else happens, Sanders wants former Congressman Barney Frank and Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy out of their spots as co-chairs of the convention rules committee. It’s become a priority fight for him.

Also, do we ever get the prices on men’s suits they wear when they speak on inequality? Because I am sure they are not picking them up from Brook’s Brothers. Supreme Court Justices pay a lot for their robes too.

I don't get it, why waste his ammo on such useless personal vendetta's.
Guess Sanders doesn't care about the future and doing the most good he can do from his position. Its now about vengeance and grudges.

Sad to see how bitter his campaign has become compared to the optimistic start they took.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

He's barely a part of the Democratic party. He's really got no room to try and make that demand. Perhaps if he hadn't isolated himself for 30 years.

The rest of the article is actually worse.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid’s call was part advice, part asking a favor, urging Sanders to use his now massive email list to help Democratic Senate candidates. Russ Feingold in Wisconsin was the most obvious prospect, and Reid wanted to make introductions to Iowa’s Patty Judge and North Carolina’s Deborah Ross—to help Democrats win the majority, but also to give Sanders allies in making himself the leader of the Senate progressives come next year.

Reid, according to people familiar with the conversation, ended the discussion thinking Sanders was on board. He backed Feingold. But that’s the last anyone heard.

Word got back to Reid’s team that Weaver had nixed the idea, ruling out backing anyone who hadn’t endorsed Sanders. Weaver says it’s because the Senate hopefuls had to get in line for Sanders’ support behind top backers like Gabbard and Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.)—though neither has a competitive race this year.

Sanders never followed up himself.

He's not part of the team. You've got challengers in republican states that need your help. Put aside your ego and help them. It's like he doesn't know how to be big.

Yeah, but I don’t think Obama or Paul Ryan pick up their suits there, tbh.

Wishful thinking. Obama bringing in Sanders to the White House certainly means this is over and things will be ironed out soon.

It's more of his diehard base that will be on edge than Bernie himself.

I don't know, depends on how much of that Bernie Campaign article is truth or not.
I can certainly see Bernie fighting until the bitter end and burning his chance for lasting impact on the Democratic party.

Without a leader who has a plan and provides direction it will come to nothing.
At the moment its no different then the Occupy movement in my mind. Just directionless anger at 'the system'.

Directionless anger at the system isn't directionless. It's directed at the system, and consequentially is aimed at how to change it. Oftentimes not in the most realistic ways, perhaps, but you'll be amazed how little realism matters when change is perceived to be needed, or in your case, is actually needed.

I take that article with a grain of salt. Losing sucks and all political campaigns get pretty nasty in their finals days.
