NaNiwa not invited to Code S - Page 113

While I understand that there's a need to discuss this matter, this thread has way too many trash posts in it. Please think carefully about what you want to say. Ad hominem attacks on Swedish people in general, calling you fellow Starcraft fans idiots etc etc will be dealt with with harsher punishment from here on out. Keep it civil people. Page 230: Here's some more stuff that'll get you banned! - Conspiracy theory mongering about MLG and GOM - Comparing people to Hitler - Posting useless one liners of arguments that have already been repeated ad nauseum.

Of course idra wouldn't pull this, because as a Zerg he can just 6 pool + worker rush and that's counted as just as legitimate as a macro game

#GSL #SC2 54 minutes ago Basically saying: Naniwa wasn't seeded to Code S to begin with; people think he got the seed from MLG Providence but that is not the case. It was more like if he hadn't done what he did, it was likely that he could of received the Code S seed. All they have done is restricting naniwa from receiving the Code S seed (not revoking the code s seed)

Also how can people defend him that not being able to give it all he has was a valid reason to act like that? If he really couldn't play he should havejust forfeited.. Going into the game and acting like that is just disrespectful. Also the tournament hosts are completely in their right to ban him like that imo. It's standard for tournaments to include rules like "During a match, a player shall not offend the opponent or audience with abusive behaviours". Tournament hosts should always have some leeway in how to deal with certain situations, ie the direction can always choose to ban or unban some player even if there are no specific rules for that, that's standard practice for tournaments really. Without being able to do that there will always be some bad behaviour for which there was no specific rule to ban it. For example take real madrid in the champions league last year, during a game some of the players got yellow cards on purpose to avoid a banning later on when it mattered. This behaviour was obviously not sportsmanlike but there were no specific rules to punish a team for that. The UEFA did anyway basing it on some sportsmanship rule which was a good thing.

Oh wait thats fine though in GSL pantomine circus. MC doesn't do that during GSL cause he's not a retard, at least I've personally not even seen it once despite not missing many gsl matches

People like this are the true racists here. If you have a justified complaint (which some people do) please state it, don't label a company or organizers as some flamebait term such as "racist" because you lack the etiquette to express opinions without being a dick to someone. Anything along these lines is idiotic drama generation based on zero facts and reminds me of calling the weak kid in the playground "gay" because it makes you feel big. So tell me, anyone who believes this is racially motivated: are you a bully? Do you feel good calling people names? Or do you actually have facts and what you're stating is a truth I'm missing? Because all I see is flamebait and a pot calling the kettle black. Go look at choya, byun, and coca. All examples of worse offenses that resulted in really no significant action by Gom minus Choya's ban in the gstl.

I hope Naniwa can behave in a more 'professional' fashion in the future, and hopefully bounce back from this.

GOM I'm fairly confident other players have forfeited matched in other tournaments without consequence. The only one I recall that was remotely recent was when Idra was extremely fatigued from jet lag and forfeited the rest of his matches for the night and went to sleep. Of course these circumstances are different but regardless a forfeit is a forfeit. This is Gom's tournament they can do as they please. You can't say I smoked weed in x country because it's legal there, therefore I should be able to smoke weed here.

The moment when the camera shows him sitting there without hands on keybord... helps to put a bit more perspective to this. Honestly, I can see if he was doing this with a different attitude and microing, he could have gotten off and it could have been viewed as entertainment. But from the clip, he just looks spiteful. I realize he was devastated emotionally which is why it seemed offensive.
