NaNiwa not invited to Code S - Page 115

While I understand that there's a need to discuss this matter, this thread has way too many trash posts in it. Please think carefully about what you want to say. Ad hominem attacks on Swedish people in general, calling you fellow Starcraft fans idiots etc etc will be dealt with with harsher punishment from here on out. Keep it civil people. Page 230: Here's some more stuff that'll get you banned! - Conspiracy theory mongering about MLG and GOM - Comparing people to Hitler - Posting useless one liners of arguments that have already been repeated ad nauseum.

All they have done is restricting naniwa from receiving the Code S seed (not revoking the code s seed) So the guys at MLG were wrong? Didn't they announce it right there? I call BS on that one, he even deleted the english tweets, that were saying his Code S was revoked.

Where is the line? It's impossible to draw one. And he did this in Blizzard Cup, so as the rule says he should be warned in/disqualified from Blizzard Cup, NOT GSL. Lawyered. The line is that 6 probes rush is unwinnable in a pro competition. Blizzard Cup is a one time thing and GSL has sovereignty over their tournaments.

All they have done is restricting naniwa from receiving the Code S seed (not revoking the code s seed) unfortunately this is shit too. They later invited IDRA (8th at providence) and SEN (not at MLG) to code S instead of all those in front of him. They are freely giving out seeds and denying naniwa because he threw a USELESS match

illr memeber that when MC is prancing around the stage like a ballerina.. that could cause offence to some people right? Especially after a victory. Oh wait thats fine though in GSL pantomine circus.[/QUOTE] what a ridiculous thing to say, you've CLEARLY missed the point. Fans (like me) pay for GSL, they pay to watch in person, they expect a show. MC prancing around on stage is what people WANT TO SEE, how can you possibly compare this to basically forfeiting/fixing a game, simply because it has no benefit (money or otherwise) for yourself? I would be absolutely furious if i travelled to the gom studios to watch Naniwa (likely as he's a foreigner) and he did that, in a game everyone expected him to perform in (he's beaten Nestea recently). MC speaks for everyone in that Whitera is the ultimate professional, and while it is very unlikely many will reach the standards he consistently does, players MUST respect that fans are what keeps e-sports as successful as it is.

Decision taken overnight. * Mr. Chae then proceeds to slander Naniwa officially. * Sen and IdrA are given FREE Code S seeds. What a clusterfuck. Yep a clusterfuck indeed. I don't get the whole "get top3 in a MLG for a code S spot" if they are later on just gonna hand out them to some random bad players. Neither Idra or sen deserves a Code S spot for free ( no one does IMO)

Players break your rule you act, they did. Naniwa accepted to play under GOM's terms he broke there rule and is punished for it accordingly. 100% correct call from a business prospective.

As mentioned before, a Korean would have suffered a way harsher penalty than that. But do you really want another Institution like KeSpa running the whole e-Sports-World of one game? Do you want a player to get an instant-loss in a very high-profile-game cuz he typed in "pp" instead of "ppp" and paused the game? Do you want the fake-emotions with ridiculous and embarrassing (okay, sometimes also awesome) ceremonies and ban ppl that show true human emotions, like naniwa did? Do you want a System that prides itself with being politically correct, fair and does everything to look shiny in the outside, but on the inside, they basically exploit teenagers and young adults and have 100% control over who is allowed to play, who gets how much money etc.? We need to show GSL right now that this is a direction we won't accept! I've deinstalled GomTV-player and deleted my Bookmarks for GSL until they revoke their decision. I don't care much for GSL atm anyways, cuz it gets upstaged by far by foreign tournaments, which also often have much better quality streams, free VoD's and a more multicultural playing-field. This was just the last straw for me...
