Need a team based shooter? how about counter strike. Need fancy graphics? Get cs:go when it's released. Need a single play shooter? How about a quake or UT style game. The unique guns and fast paced action make them very entertaining to watch. | ||

i remember when milkis got trashed by the majority of the community, both here on tl and on reddit for posting his elite comments about sc1 being the only real esport. two weeks later, people on both of these sites complain about dreamhack showing games other then sc2 on the mainstage. theres even been a massive thread of sc2 is the only esports bullshit on reddit. i just feel like a big chunk of the sc2 community are just ignorant towards any other games. | ||

And just saying, Starcraft players are pretty fucking stylish. Just look at motherfucking NaDa, for one example. And on the off-chance they hate SC2 and want it to die hard, it's their opinion and they're entitled to theirs. The majority of the community probably think it's sweet that MLG is getting huge numbers, and Halo is most likely not going anywhere. | ||

My friends who have played both BW and SC2 still prefer BW, and we all hate LoL, I've never played BW myself but I play ssbm competitively, and I hate brawl with a passion, so I can understand where the BW people come from. I subbed in for my friend in a LoL inhouse with people that play it seriously, against an equal team, and we won by a landslide. I did absolutely nothing as support for the first 5 minutes of the game, it was really boring. Why do we care what halo people say? The first year sc2 was in mlg it broke records, and they didnt even have a proper place for it, they had folding tables and whatnot instead of booths We are an elitist community, but we're also a very well mannered one compared to most others. | ||
