While I hardly ever watch competetive counterstrike, I have the utmost respect for the game and its scene, and I'm happy when it is featured by big tournaments. However I have zero respect for console shooters and games like LoL (and I certainly don't mean moba games in general), therefor I will continue being a free silver member as long as my MLG membership would pay for those games. | ||

There's literally 4 mins joking around about style, and the rest is bashing Halo players for being lazy. Halo is dying because people don't support it. They are just asking for people to support it. The first part is just joking around and people are taking this way too seriously. | ||

Halo players and the way the controllers work allow way more skill. I dono I feel bad for halo dropping off but it sounds kinda of dumb when they say starcraft blows the gamers who play it play it all day and no other life. Bobby fischer the best chest player ever when he was on top he didnt know how to drive or had a girlfriend. Cause he devoted and thats why he was the best. So I dont think they understand how it works. Starcraft 2 professionaly is such a high art form and the people who do it are spending all day doing it...Thats how it works. Cheers to the Halo guys its a great game but I think the mass quanity of young kid really drown out those guys which kinda suck. Dont flame these guys, just nip it. Best of luck to Halo | ||

Best of luck to Halo But that's when they're joking. Notice later they say that they're disturbed about how little their halo "pro's" actually practiced compared to SC2 and other games. They're trying to set up the SC2 players as these dedicated professionals (joking about clothing aside) and pointing out how lazy and stagnated Halo has become. | ||

The only thing they really say is that starcraft players don't have any fashion style (ironically while all wearing tshirts and hoodies but touting $150 shoes) and that sc2 pros spend a lot more time playing than the halo pros do. Essentially that we are more nerdy, even though they are hosting a web show on a video game. The other 47 minutes is a rant on the halo scene needing to step up their game, and the constantly reference the SC2 scene as an example on how to get it done. | ||

However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the TeamLiquid community didn't jump on the hate bandwagon like the Reddit community did on this issue. I love the Halo community even if my SC2 watching has caused me to not watch it (I don't want to watch Halo VODs - a lot of the excitement is in the moment and it conflicts with SC2 finals/group play). | ||
