Not yours specifically, just that sentiment of "all I heard was..." crap. You're literally admitting, "I haven't heard the entire point or listened to the entire thing but I'm going to base my opinion on cherry picking what I hear in the beginning." Come on dude. because I'm not going to waste my time? That wasn't all I heard, I listened to the 10 minutes but decided not to comment on that, because our other posters seemed to have got it covered. You aren't getting on the OP's case because all he told us to listen to was the first 10 minutes? did you not just perhaps choose to read only my first sentence and just talk shit about how I'm ignorant? I could really care less

So you're not going to waste your time watching the rest of the video to formulate an intellectual opinion...but then you say you watched the entire 10 minutes....and are making an opinion on the matter on a cherry picked handful of quotes taken completely out of context in the beginning of the video without reference to the rest of the video. I'm so confused right now, I can't even explain.

I really do hope I never do have to see that, because I'm scared.

Stylish? Spending money on shoes? Wow, these guys are just plain retards, you can tell by how they talk. Yo dog, you guys should go hit the club instead of playing video games, G. Makes me so proud to play Starcraft. I realize they are 100% trollin, but holy crap knuckledraggers ftw.

As to people trying to point out the non nerdy pastimes SC players have, just don't ask Incontrol ![]() It is good to know that at least they recognize how awesome White-Ra is.

Yeah, but i'm not talking shit about other games. They are obviously biased so their opinions are stupid when it comes to talking about other games. They will obviously shit on any other game that threatens their game. Pull the stick out of your ass.

I'm so confused right now, I can't even explain. because other people in the thread already described shit perfectly and I didn't need to? All I WANTED to comment on was the superficial bullshit. My actual reasoning for posting was to defend that halo actually takes a ton of skill to compete at the highest levels, just like every game. I'd rather everyone get along so we can show how legitimate esports is. Yet all you did was quote one small sentence and ignored me. I really don't care if you think I'm ignorant based on a forum post and quite wasting time preaching.

Maybe if they did practice more and raised the skill gap in their own game it would be more popular, rather than treating it like a hobby. Too lazy to go back past page 8 to find even more glorious quotes proving my point. Unfortunately, despite how much of a shining bright star of sunshine and maturity you are in this community, when everyone else is mindlessly bashing this game and this community for explicitly praising us but making a crack at our fashion sense (which was hilarious, mind you, in my opinion), I'm going to address the issue to the community when I make a post about it.

Like I said, if those guys from the podcast have a problem with our community. It's their problem; not ours. There is no need to take any offense to what they say as they have no weight. How you choose to deal with it is up to you.

If people actually watched the video, they PRAISE our community for being so passionate and successful, and that they should take after us. Christ, I'm starting to think NOBODY watched the video or something. I'm gonna go laugh my ass off to the Lions some more before I blow a gasket =/ Have a great night all.

"Oh we're all nerds, but those STARCRAFT nerds have no fashion sense at all!" It was pretty funny, though. Anyways, we shouldn't help them because of multiple factors, such as this being the way of Esports and that helping them would be hard if at all possible and even then we would just be carrying their scene. I can sympathize with them, though. Watching something like Starcraft fall apart would be nightmarish, especially considering that, I consider it the best Esport at the moment due to it's extremely high skill cap with multiple required skillsets, not to mention the spectator friendliness of it. Personally, I think their loss might be Esports gain if Tribes: Ascend can take the scene. That game is one of the better FPS's out there in terms of Esports friendliness. EDIT: I only watched the first 10 minutes of the video due to the comment in the OP that said the first 10 minutes would suffice. However, if someone can refute the OP's claim, then could he please remove it?

Yeah, so what's your point? Or are you arguing just for the sake of arguing?

It's all in good fun though, these guys clearly have respect for the game. Agreed. They didn't shit on sc2, all they said was that sc2 players are more nerdy than halo players which is pretty much true. Harmless conversation between some chill guys.

Which holds just as much water (that is, none) about us talking about FPS games, their players, and their community. Jeez, what's the big deal about?
