Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne

So many changes. I like a lot of them but it seems like this could radically shift the metagame. Give the players time to develop new strats instead of just nerfing everything blizz

They should make EMP clear fungal growth and give the templar a similar dispel ability and leave the damage as it is.

Barracks change is a little excessive. Proxy 2 gate, or just 2 gate in general will be hard to hold now 5 seconds is a lot! especially when a zealot is coming against a marine. Other than good changes, like the infest or nerf deff. needed. Blink, eh could help zergs out a little bit but will stillb e used the same the ultralisk build time is awesome! Like the raven change also make we will see a lot of hunter seeker

Just conjecture at a glance: I think they decreased the cost of overseers to allow for easier detection, and the energy cost of contaminate was a countermeasure so ppl dont start spamming the new cheaper overseers and mass contaminating.

Build time increased from 60 to 65.

Hellion
Infernal Pre-Igniter damage upgrade decreased from 10 to 5.

Thats bull.. Really? REALLY? Like you need a supply depot before barracks and now you increase build time for barracks? REALLY?

I think the hellion thing was necessary though, it almost doubled damage to light units, and it was becoming a problem. Although you can no longer 2 shot workers i believe?

I'm pretty alright with the patches, I'd still love for toss early, early game to get some love (though some will disagree with me).

Immortal buff might actually be a pretty large effect.
