Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne

Terran changes are bad but I can live with them, to all the people in this thread who are openly celebrating you might want to relax. Patch still has to be tested, it's likely a few things will change before the end.

Still I like most of the changes, particularly the Warp Prism, Ultralisk and Raven. Three pretty underused units.

The Barracks nerf might be over doing it even if it does bring it in line with gateways, but the rest of the changes seem like a pretty solid way to improve all the PvX match ups, less gimped immortals especially seem like they actually might be worth their cost against armored units now.

Drones were buffed and scvs were nerfed in this patch if you look in the nonbanlance patch section. SCVs can't juke and jive when they start and stop building stuff Drones not whiffing when they attack will do a lot against early rushes

Awesome changes. I'm not happy about the Blink changes though, imo it wasn't too strong at all...

Because they can't be one-shotted it doesn't matter? I think the TvT air battle is going to look much different now.

Fair Patch I guess. The terran changes MIGHT be a little bit too much but am happy with the zerg and toss changes. As a random player, I'm finally looking forward to a patch. Which is awesome.

Buffed HSM, reasonably nerfed barracks build time, good busy mode, ultra spawn time better... Better warp prism, ranged immortal. This is an epic patch.

Still happy by the overall changes.

Terrans should stand up in droves right now just like all the Zerg whiners do. If you ever want mech to stay viable.

First they nerfed the tank because of STEPPES OF WAR. Wrap that around your brain and comprehend that - they nerfed the tank because of one imba mech map the size of your pinky.

Then they gave the thor energy back. Thors were good TvP, just like tanks were before that, but nono, too much like brood war - gotta make sure we don't have that, so they gave thors energy again just to make it a sitting duck. And think about this...they nerfed the fuck outta that after just ONE SERIES OF THORZAIN VS MC....LOL. "Wait and see how things develop..."LOL guess it has to be Z for that balance philosophy to hold true.

Now this...now they are even trying to kill the hellion to completely finish killing off mech. Zergs whine and QQ all the time and blizzard listens...Terrans where are you? You just gonna let them "wait and see" for months on infestors, but after one MLG they immediately nerf hellions...? You gonna stand for that Terran players? ?????

I do not know what they are thinking, WAY too soon to even touch hellions. "Wait and see.." sure, they wait and see...if it's ZERG. Because they are the most vocal majority of whiners.

Stand up for yourselves Terrans.

T_T Hellions. Mech TvP has just died RIP. Hellions should be 75minerals now and be faster.

i love the hellion nerf but its not enough i think? I mean 1/1/1 still a big issue...
Maybe the new range for immortal will make a difference.

Bunkers are nerfed as a result of the barracks nerf, and this

SCVs will now always face the building when resuming construction.
SCVs can no longer repair themselves while inside a Bunker or Medivac.

it matters quite a lot, when you have to spend a few extra seconds splitting up your units to avoid splash, even 1 second is significant

also now you can kill worker lines easier (they can't outrun either! lol!) and kill marines, medivacs, etc etc...

i think the barracks change is bad but other than that i am fine with all of the terran changes, needs a bunker change
