Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne There is way too much flaming in this thread right now. dunno about this..like immortal change, warp prism obviously needed for more interesting strategies for P..helions nerf needed too, maybe this is too much but we will see..what I do not understand is the build time of barracks, makes no sense to me, would prefer a change to marine fire rate or something instead..ultralisk change is kinda wierd too, change was needed but TO the broodlords first, then you can buff ultra buildtime really..as if Zerg needs ultras right now to win..id like to see them but as an alternative/other option then the OP broodlords. infestor change was needed too ofc..happy with that, how this will play out we will see..and what exactly gonna be in the patch goes to show aswell.. | ||

Infestors needed nerf against marines, not against armored, now they put Zergs in huge underdog in ZvP when we include previous freeze time nerf. Immortals are making already f* up stalker = roach match impossible for Zergs to win. Stalkers are OP in a way against all zerg units already (excluding mass lings and hydras), which both are needed either in huge numbers or are way too slow or fragile in even match. Blink research time change doesnt change anything really. So whats left... Ultra change... Yeah 4 bases for gas and maybe you can get Ultras out... maybe. Which can provide some coverage for lings, but not usefull even with upgrade for their cost to size at screen to armor/damage ratio. Whats left? Longer barracks time... wtf. Already hard to def against 6 pool, why to make it weaker? In offence that time is pretty much useless, rather something like combat shields +5 and health -5, to compensate early 2 rax attacks or marine creating time increase. Maybe I am just stupid (yeah I am) but I really have hard times to find anything positive for current balance in this patch. Rather it seems to mess things up that players have already overcome. | ||
