Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. yeah and blh are not useless now, just like ht are not useless, and we got the whole upgrade gone. still takes 2 shots to kill zergling, 3 for marines and workers so I really don't see the problem with this.

I wonder if the terran players would react if the nerf was only 1 second. Hopefully not. Everyone will learn how to deal with their issues. Every patch has nerfs and buffs. My suggestion is play more with the patch. Just reading the patch notes...Really doesn't solve anything. So just relax, my terran players.
Btw if you think you will lose cause of a 5 second delay on the barracks...Then its like saying you lost cause you split your scvs badly. <--Somewhat of a CombatEX quote.

Im surprised of how many ppl are confused about the barracks change from 60 to 65. Obviously its to slow down 2rax pressure and even 3rax all ins/ TLO style 7rax.
For the other changes I'm excited to see how they work. I always thought seeker missile was already pretty strong and no one used it. The nerfs aren't devastating and someone of the changes are very creative like the vision up ramp reduced by 1.

the problem is that at the top level of play, all the build orders are solidified
forcing all korean terrans to figure out new build orders for every single thing they want to do will definitely nerf terran but it's going about it in a very wrong way
if the change is directed primarily at the 11/11 opening, a more obvious solution is to fix average rush distance on the ladder maps

Does anyone know what situations these changes refer to? It has the potential to be either completely unnoticeable, or incredibly game-changing.

Decent patch imo. Only thing I don't understand is the BFH nerf. The problem is not the damage that they do but the time at which they do it. If they decided to make the armory a pre-req for BF then not only would that make sense in terms of logic, but I think it would prevent the "insta-win" aspect of using BFH in TvZ and TvP at the early stage. No need to change the damage then... BFH would still be viable in all matchups for drone/probe/scv harass... It would just be later.
As for the other changes... The paper airplane that was the warp prism needed that buff. The HSM upgrade is ok... but I agree with ThorZain in saying that the range to use it is still too short. All the zerg patches were needed and the Bnet changes should've been obvious a long LONG time ago.

Aaaah I'm not too happy with this. Feel Infestors needed a bigger nerf and don't understand the T nerfs. Or P buffs. But whatevs.

That's plain wrong. Not only does it give you map control, but 3 bfh still one-shot 10 drones. The nerf did not touch either mobility nor efficiency versus lings. Something that was too good got nerfed, it doesn't make it bad. It makes it balanced. As far as i'm concerned, bfh is still a real good opener versus zerg. The only difference is that it may not outright give you the win like it used to.

Love the rax +5 sec, blink +30 sec and hellion nerf. Pretty decent patch overall.

And? if its so imba just stop playing. No ones were whinning when Flash used the 2-2 timming attack on Katrina TvP. then on other maps. Toss just worked on their build. Now The 1/1/1 is like the imba build and there is nothing to do against it. I don't agree, even if its hard to play vs that build there are some ways to win against it.

If you meant the second part I meant in 2v2 where your ally has WG tech That wouldn't work, you can't warp in an ally's powerfield. The zerg would have the field, not the protoss.

And by the way, the wall is completed as soon as you slam down the building, not when it finishes. Plus scv repair on completed buildings will save you until the marine gets out.
