Why don't they just lower cooldown on warpgates and increase warp in the same amount. Won't hurt other matchups, while solving pvp. Easy solution. Blizz = idiots. I guess next thing they figure out: "We found out hellions can really set back a player, if they hit the worker line". "We found out marauders can kill a building in 2 secs - this is truely news to us. We care, and listen to the community". | ||

This should be tested in the PTR first, which I actually think they will do but I hope this won't cause 2-Gate chronoboosted zealots to be a "whine-topic" again. In the end I think this is a good idea since the whole idea behind WG is weird and PvP might be a liiiiiitle more dynamic than it is right now, but I don't want another collosus vs collosus battle T.T | ||

pvp being 100% blink stalker delayed 4gate on both sides would be just as bad as what we have now, arguably worse since going 1 base starport would be retarded, 1base colossus would get destroyed and if you try and leave your base with immortals blink stalkers harrass/base trade. dt would also surge as the main build would be hard countered by it but we get the worst of both worlds now as both techs would be completely unscoutable untill its too late. id argue this version of pvp would not just be as bad but worse than we have now. plus it doesnt adress the main thing that expos arent viable, i would go ANY BUILD if i had to in order to expo in pvp but nothing works but 1 base agression, sometimes you can expo but you cant plan for an expo build because your 10 minutes into the game before your first safe chance. its horrible this is the only mirror where you cant reliably macro win against your opponent no matter how high your skill level. the delay involved with putting warp on twilight is ok but actually doing it is a completely terrible idea. pvp would be no better at all, games would just last 1-2 more minutes. | ||

Grass is always greener on the other side, whatever KaS is doing with Protoss, and however good he may be, he wont be switching, it is the same when Zergs were "switching to Terran". I can't even fathom how anyone can consider the match up this bad when you have players like Bomber,MKP MVP and MMA just crushing Protoss so convincingly, even players just as good like San/MC. Bomber vs White-ra had some if the most one sided games I've ever seen. Not to mention the cognitive dissonance when you say "no balance whine" but call the match "as much as a joke as PvZ" the sentence before. | ||

It makes complete sense to have a defender's advantage of sorts, by being able to produce more units faster out of your gateways, than say, the attacker out of his warpgates. Since warpgate is such a powerful mechanic, it just seemed to negate defense SO MUCH, by bringing all your production right to where you are. I'm incredibly pleased with this news | ||

Bomber is the only one crushing protoss according to TLPD, MKP and MVP are both around a 52% win rate which is their worst matchups. | ||

They do not want Toss to be favored in PvP as well so they are nerfing WG so toss is not longer favored in PvP | ||
