If everybody had the same tastes then there wouldn't be so many varieties of music around. Ironically, the metal community is identical to the rap one. If we had a thread talking about good metal songs and somebody brought up a mainstream metal band, the metalheads would get all bent out of shape also. In all other encounters I've had with people who listen to all metal, they have always flipped out when a group that could potentially be played on MTV is named. It's better to like rap than metal anyways. Rap is more commonly accepted at clubs and by girls. When you go on a first date with somebody, are you going to roll up with slayer or fear factory blaring on your stereo? Hopefully not. Listen to whatever you want on your own time and learn to be accepting of other types of music that are more commonly liked. I'm open to people liking whatever they want. However since you felt the need to isolate the people who like rap on the board, I wanted to return the favor. | ||
