Definitely the coolest people I've met while playing bw in no particular order...
Stygg - I've had so many close games with him. Once I started playing bw again after a one and a half year break, playing him over many games helped shake the rust off  . Overall, a very cool and mannered guy.
Evilteletubby - Provides good advice for all players... newbie and average alike. Many of his SGD posts has helped me out a lot. Very cool guy and a good 2v2 partner.
HnR)Hurt aka HurtnTime - Getting owned by him like 20 times in a row at TvT definitely improved my thinking in that mu. Probably the most manner bw player I've ever met online... in fact, I don't think I've ever seen him bm anyone. Awesome guy and bw player.
])ar](_Shiran - Me and him duked it out over a lot of 1v1s back in 1.08 and 1.09. Sadly, I haven't seen him online is ages. If he still plays I doubt he remembers me  .

TF-Sasuke: If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Frode, he may be, hands down, the most mannered person I've encountered on bnet. He's willing to play anyone, he doesn't talk trash, hes very skilled and an absolutely all around good guy. One of the few people I wouldn't mind meeting irl.
prodigy99: Fun guy, we get a long great, were practice partners for a while. He's better than me and can still come to me for advice, it's well appreciated. We have our moments where we argue like school girls, but it's all in good taste.
Zia: Kinda what you dream your girlfriend would be like, hot, likes video games and is actually good at them. Charming personality to boot, hold on tight Eri.
Eri: Speaking of which, I think manner runs in the bloods of most of the Norwegians(read Vikings). One of the good people who when I msg him, doesn't respond with arrogant remarks. All around nice guy.
Twisted: Erwin I love you. Known him for oh, about 6 months now and he's a riot. Kept telling me to call Tuig's cell phone while they were in San Fran so we could chat, I chickened out, thought it would be too awkward. Also very manner, and has a cute nickname for me. -_-
Nyoken: I don't even know where to begin with this one. You crack me up on almost every occasion, I make fun of you, and you admit to everything I say. Nonetheless, It seems to me that you feel fairly comfortable talking to me, dunno if thats just how you are, or if we just get along that well.
h0eZ: One of my better internet friends, we are a bit more distant nowadays due to your lack of bw. Another one of those guys I would gladly hang out with irl. Share many same tastes in things.
Beyonder: This may be a strange one for him to read, but everytime he posts about trance and electronica music in general, I become more attached to the culture. His knowledge of the genre inspires me to want to learn more, I download almost every song he recommend because I think he has amazing taste and I've absolutely loved 90% of the songs hes recommended.

I'm not gonna type my whole friends list, just the ones I feel really comfortable with and absolutely in no particular order
LeJester - the first one from Public chat KJ (east) I ever played, I think. I still remember earlier this year during springtime, I was unemployed and had all the time in the world for BW. He was the only on online during my daytime so we played a lot of games. Cool guy, doesn't seem to take things too seriously and is easy to get along with, at least to me
Revlett - you know it man. Mature guy, good Terran and he has my respect for being probably the most mannered guy I'll ever play BW with. He doesn't brag about victories like others may at times, and my units have pummeled into submission many times in the (almost always) close games we have.
Payt - young but smart and a lot more mature than other guys his age (he just turned 15 I think). I've had a lot of close games with him as well. He has balls and always seems to say what he thinks without sugar coating it too much, regardless who he's talking with. I respect that attribute, especially considering his age. More often than any other poster, he's the one who says exactly what I wanted to say
TarkinTheProud - also a youngster but very cool, wise and mannered. Where other newcomers to the game refuse to heed the advice of other, more experienced players, Tark has always shown enough humility to realize listening to others is a good way to improve.
Bushard - Does not take shit from anyone and seems a very fiery person. Asks a lot of personal questions, I enjoy that, it's like he takes a personal interest in whoever he's talking to. Makes you feel somewhat important. He's a very inconsistant player, but he can certainly rock my world when he's on a hot streak.
Many others that deserve a mention too, but these are the ones I've gotten to know the most.
