I wouldn't call this a close game. + Show Spoiler + It was pretty obvious that the zerg player was going to win after defeating the early banshee rush.

The chat is pretty interesting too. Haha two of my favorite people to match against in ladder =) I saw the games, thx for the heads-up (as a toss user myself)

Rank 4 plat 2v2 action on Metal. Very fast paced game with plenty of harass from both sides including nydus worms, air drops, baneling bombs. Game is full of hit and run and both sides manage to cripple each other. Please feel free to send me a pm with some tips/criticism. I am the blue zerg. + Show Spoiler + I am blue zerg with my partner red zerg. We scout the other zerg's early expo and decide to rush him. We kill the expo but discover terran has walled off the Z base. It's a constant struggle from there.

Edit: The Ro64 Game isn't bad either... a lot of whining by the Zerg player. Seriously, people need to stop with the whole "cheese" thing. It's a tournament, you do whatever you can to win, and who is to decide what is "cheese" and what's not. It's just getting out of a hand. Hellion harass to banshee harass is considered as cheese now? I don't know, maybe next time stay in your base, let the Zerg FE, do mass M&M&M, and when both players are ready, meet in the middle of the map and use the attack command? ^^ That was a very effective Hellion > Banshee harass build by the way. You can cliff harass the mains, the natural has 2 chokes very far apart, the third has a choke about 5 thors wide, and the flight rush distance is like 8 seconds.

GJ. It's a pretty bad game with a terrible opponent ("wish it was best of three. Because things would be different" yeah you'd get 2-0ed idiot). Well played by Kawaii though.

I'm not exactly sure how "total garbage" falls into the "constructive" category however, but anyway, no offense taken. We're currently working on a lighter version for people with older computers. For the record, the website doesn't lag at all for people with somewhat recent computers. I can open 10 different tabs on the website and it's lag free, even though my computer if far from being the latest gaming system. But I definitely understand that we need to make it lighter for older systems, and we're working on that. I fail to see the comparison with geocities and myspace though. The information is structured in a very simple way to give access to content quickly. Hell, I find that the website is much less cluttered with information than most websites out there. What do you really mean by that? "The bar at the top clashes with the rest of the background". Do you mean the top menu? That's the first time I hear a negative comment about it, what do you mean exactly by clashes with the rest of the background? Thank you for your feedback, it's much appreciated. ps: What internet browser do you use? Which version? I'm using firefox and whatever the latest version is. My PC is also right up to scratch, I have a q9300, 4 gigs of ram and an hd5850 and im running windows 7. Regardless of that, the second I scroll your page the entire background jitters constantly. The problem isn't my PC, if I have the site minimized in the background it does nothing but firefox spazzes out like mad. The "menu" as you call it at the top clashes horrendously with the rest of the background. I don't understand how you could possibly not realize that. It's a horrible, low resolution scratchy looking big bar that looks like its trying to eat the webpage. Not to mention the 17 loading bars and boxes flying in from 34 different directions are the most annoying thing in the world. I called it a geocities page because it looks like one. If geocities was still around I'd show you an example. Look at teamliquid. Nice color scheme, sleek design, links to everything you need. That's it. No fancy backgrounds, no fancy loading bars and boxes flying in all over the screen. This post definitely sounds like I'm being a dick but what you have should be a great website. You have a really good replay database especially considering most of them are from big tournaments where replay packs were not released. Lots of high quality games on there, but everytime I load it up I find myself in an absolute rush to do everything before all the garbage I don't care about at the top scrolls onto the screen so that my browser doesn't freeze up for 2 seconds after its done loading. TO SUMMARIZE: Your website has so much clutter on it it actually has loading bars. When you first load up the website and it's just a plain black background with the blue-ish bits at the left and right it looks great. Then everything else appears.

I hear you, and the lighter version should be out within a week. The reason why there's a loading bar is because the top of the site uses Flash (it's the only way to have those fancy sounds and moving windows). But you only download it once though. As for the top menu being ugly, horrible, low resolution scratchy looking big bar... well, go tell that to blizzard, cause it's straight from their fansite kit, and it's also the menu they use for some of their websites, most notably their main portal: http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/ And they also have a loading bar. It has nothing to do with their website "having so much clutter". It's just that when a website uses Adobe Flash, there's gonna be a loading bar. That's how you get those animated backgrounds and sounds. But I'm sure they have no clue and should re-think their whole design too ^^ Bah anyway, the light version (no flash) should be out soon. The flash version will still be available for those who prefer it. Everyone will be happy!

And yeah, I know it's because its flash - the point is why the hell do you need flash for a replay website!? You can have a top replays section without needing some ugly box at the top. You seem really, really defensive about this. Keep up what you're doing with the replay collecting though and hopefully it'll be a much better experience browsing it when you get that light version out.

I was talking about the silly thing at the top of the page with the top replays box and stuff on it. with all the random quotes and stuff from the game which then gets filled up with a million different boxes of stuff I don't care about. Almost every link between the backgrounds of the site looks like someones torn paper at the edges and glued it to the next piece. Ah well, the reason we put some flash in it was because we wanted to not only offer replays, but also a browsing experience. There are some cool sound effects happening when you log in or when you level up on the site for example. Some people enjoy it. But I hear you, some people find it annoying, and they're right. The light version should be out tonight or tomorrow by the way. We'll keep on making improvements based on feedback, so keep it coming ![]()
