- Words after the group of Death? ▲ it is only the begining. I think I have to become better. Next time, I will prepare much more than today. - What set did you think was the most important? ▲ The first game without a doubt. If I get the first set, I believed I could qualify for the RO16 much more relaxed. If I did end up losing set 1, I think I would've permanently broken down against FBH hyung. So I prepared everything for game 1. - You lost at the winner's match. READ THIS! IMPORTANT! ▲ I was at such a disadvantage from the start. For progamers, my start is a bad build against Hwasin hyung's build. Spectators might not understand, but hwasin risked everything and went for the command. People thought we were mirrored, but I was 2fac speed, while hwasin hyung was 3fac speed. From the start, the game was a 40% for me and 60% for Hwasin hyung. - You played against jaedong at the last set. ▲ To be honest with you, I did not want to play Jaedong Hyung today. We even have a proleague game with each other, and even if we played I wanted to play against jaedong at the winner's bracket. I was so sad, Jaedong Hyung is a player who doesn't deserve to drop out from RO32. - You dropped from RO32 last season ▲ I changed my mentallity of this game. I decided to practice stuff I was actually bad at. I extended my practice time alot more to a point where my hand hardened because of dead skin, and I changed my view of tournaments. I don't want to be the Flash I was last season. - You will be facing Leta. ▲ I really like Leta Hyung. He is so humble and nice to me. It is a pity I will play him only at RO16 though. However, I will prepare alot so I can win. I believe my TvT, regardless of how good or bad they are is 50/50 so I won't be overconfident or underconfident. - You have the OSL tomorrow ▲ To tell you the truth, I couldn't practice for osl ;;. But still I won at MSL so I will have confidence tomorrow - How far do you think you will get? ▲ In my opinion, this tourament can go either way and even my coach believes that too. Because of today, I think I can get to RO8. After RO8, well I'll decide what to do after I get to RO8. - Last words? ▲ I want to thank my parents and fans. Everyone around me told me to try beating Jaedong Hyung and I actually did! I will try harder to become a better player, so I have a 50% chance against Jaedong. Hwasin Intervieww - You tore through the Group of Death ▲ It was such a difficult group today. I felt very nervous, but I kept with my game plan. That is why I think I did good today. - 7 straight seasons, you have always entered RO16 in MSL ▲ I knew I never failed to qualify for RO16 but I didn't know it was 7 ;; - You won the zergling fight against JD ▲ When I scanned I saw he had no sunkens and had a few drones so I expected it. So I tried to hug the wall asap, but the wall was far away. I thought I was going to lose, but the firebat came at the right timing which allowed me to win. - Your current TvT is getting alot better ▲ Today was a good day. My hands were feeling great, and everything worked the way I wanted to against Flash. - You're doing good in both leagues, you must have gotten higher expectations ▲ I expected myself to do good so many times and failed, so I don't think about that anymore. All I want to do is play games. - You're against Luxury next ▲ In broadcasted games, we didn't see each other. But I won in a private game before, so I want to play in an official match. - You have alot of games now, isn't it hard to manage? ▲ I practice alot now so I don't really feel that. Long ago I used to think more than play, so I had bad results. I guess my mind control got better. - Its 2009 and you're 9 wins 1 loss ▲ I think my wins are making my mentality change more. I learned how to mind control myself, something I never had. - Last words? ▲ I want to win. However, I don't want you guys to quote me on this. I will however, do my best every game making my fans happy. | ||
