That's assuming Zerg leaves the ramp unguarded. If sending a hidden probe to Zerg main is all it takes, 3 Hatch Hydra would never be that powerful. Zerg would protect the ramp with their life when they pull out the cheese on this map.

Pretty sure if you see the Mutas coming out, you won't be able to build cannon in time.

You can't `defend 1H or 2H Muta without preemptively building cannons. 1 or 2 corsairs is not enough.


1h muta is easily defensible with 1 cannon at main. 2h is way later and ur corsair scouted by then


not soma's build. fastest possible muta is 11pool 10gas or 11pool 11 gas, your mutas finish around the time the corsair arrives or a bit before iirc. floating an overlord above the marine/medic so that the protoss can't even click to attack them to scout you is so messed up for protoss, they have to guess 5+ different lethal threats all of which have to be defended in very different ways. i say this as a zerg player


if u dont see the hydra coming down the ramp at x timing, i assume 1h muta . yes first corsair is late but u can hold the first 3-4 muta with cannon and dragoon. 1h muta is slow to build up u can defend if u get wind of it and dont lose 1st corsair


it's not 3-4 mutas, its 6-8 mutas if you time your larva right. the 2nd hatch will be up fast enough to bank 3 larva before the spire finishes, and if you scout with your sair and make cannons it will be too late because mutas flight time across the map is faster than the cannon's warp-in time

edit: it's worse than i remembered, muta are already 1/3 to your base by the time your corsair sees them
