Xellos tried a few small drops in Sheis main, taken care of easily. Both players expanded, Xellos to 12 and Sheis to 6. Sheis has also expanded again to 5 main. | ||

Xellos units at 6 moved to Sheis expansion at 5 and forced a lift. Xellos has 1 main running now, and Sheis reexpanding to 6. Sheis dropped 1 and took it out, Xellos drops there to clear the units. Sheis with a big drop on Xellos main to take more ground. Xellos forced to lift main CC and many of his buildings lay in ruin. Xellos takes out Sheis 6 expo. Xellos is working on defense for 1 and 5 mains, Sheis taking 9 o'clock island. Battle for 6 o'clock continues as Sheis reestablishes control. Xellos working on some of the Sheis units in his main and dropping 9, it is countered by a defensive drop there. Both players have 5-6 dropships in the air and Xellos goes for 9 again, Sheis doesnt unload his units together and loses the exchange. Sheis tries to continue attacking by making a drop on the barely mining 5 main of Xellos. Xellos reloads his ships and brings them to Sheis main. Sheis economy is now severely underpowered and this is the beginning of the end. GG. | ||

quick game recap xellos @11 vs Shies @7 on Desperado Shies does a fast expo CC to his min nat. Xellos goes into super aggro early game mode and does some vulture+marine rushing which does pretty significant damage. both players start going tanks+goliaths+dropships. xellos gets the first couple of drops off, but does minimal damage. however, xellos is clever enough to target sheis's dropships when xellos drops around. even tho xellos loses all his units pretty badly (xellos would lose 3-4 tanks + 6 goliaths and sheis would lose 2 tanks + 1 goliath + 2 dropthips) xellos was able to effectively cut down on sheis's mobility in the mid game xellos capitalized on this to take out sheis expansions @6 and @5. xellos was slowly taking @12 and @1. It looked all but over until sheis started doing some heavy dropping action on xellos's main. at the same time, sheis took the @9 island expansion. xellos was even forced to lift his main CC! however, xellos superior positioning and ability to prevent sheis from expanding eventually gave xellos enough momentum to pull the win yaaay | ||

there comes this point where you are positive that you can't win, but w/ defilers you won't lose for another 20 minutes it drives me crazy as zerg when i know i've lost but i keep hoping for miracles w/ defilers. they never come and i'm always bitter t.t | ||

btw, who else thinks Nemesis and Desperado lack inspiring terrain? it feels like they invented a concept (backyard expo, dual gas) and then forgot about the battlefield which is incredibly boring and default like. | ||
