Still huge. (Zergs hardly ever saturate their mineral line that high, so I don't think it played a big role in Flash vs Zero.) | ||

Still a big deal, but 2k minerals in 2 minutes would be ridiculous. | ||

Even forge expand gets punished with a regular tech build by Zerg. Fast lurkers can deny mining a long time even with pretty fast robo and P cannot even trade efficiently on that tiny cliff. And even if P gets a hold of his natural, there is like no way to ever secure additional bases before Zerg has the entire map as they are so far away. At least we will probably get some unorthodox builds, that can work once. Well either that or consecutive proxy gates. | ||

They need to BAN this map forever ASAP. Arent there some serious complaints from the players already? It is so obvious that the map is pure crap, didnt commentators mention something about it? I cannot believe such atrocities can be allowed to happen in events on that level. | ||

So I started my SC journey here on TL watching BW in arguably its prime (late 2000s, JD, Flash, Effort, Stork, Bisu etc being awesome). Pretty much every game was a white-knuckle, "holy shit I'm drooling but can't help myself because this is so suspenseful" kind of situation. I'm so motherfuckin' glad BW is being cast again, especially by Tastosis. I'm a Zerg fanboy through and through, but even the Flash vs. Zero game the other day was incredibly entertaining. I don't really care so much about the forced mechanics (12 unit control groups, having to make every worker mine, etc), but just the back and forth nature of this game is amazing. This is what esports is really about for me. I've watched HotS, Overwatch, LoL, and several others but none come even close to the amazingness that is BW. This is so freaking fantastic. I'm just drunk on ecstasy watching these VODs. TY Mr. Chae, Afreeca, Tastosis, etc. | ||
