That would be awesome. i wish, but i flew back to australia saturday afternoon. i'm betting that it will be rapid casting with tasteeless since he knows quite a bit about the brood war era from talking with him. Will you return to South Korea? I've been so happy for you out there!

If BW continues to be successful and has good viewership then the plan is to return sometime after the New Year, pending job availability.
Tastosis really want me to come back and help them out with the BW casting over in Korea, once the time comes.

Where exactly can I find VODs of Bisudagger and XKCD casting? The only VODs I find are of tastosis. Would like to watch the matches from with different narrative.

Loving the tournament so far. Taebaek mountains seems really interesting and difficult to play on, with all the ridges and narrow corridors. Hope it continues to be played.

Thanks very much. Its always nice to have different points of view.

Taebaek Mts is a really strange map. I don't like the bad things about it (and how they affect P) but the layout makes for exciting games...

So I started my SC journey here on TL watching BW in arguably its prime (late 2000s, JD, Flash, Effort, Stork, Bisu etc being awesome). Pretty much every game was a white-knuckle, "holy shit I'm drooling but can't help myself because this is so suspenseful" kind of situation.
I'm so motherfuckin' glad BW is being cast again, especially by Tastosis. I'm a Zerg fanboy through and through, but even the Flash vs. Zero game the other day was incredibly entertaining. I don't really care so much about the forced mechanics (12 unit control groups, having to make every worker mine, etc), but just the back and forth nature of this game is amazing.
This is what esports is really about for me. I've watched HotS, Overwatch, LoL, and several others but none come even close to the amazingness that is BW. This is so freaking fantastic. I'm just drunk on ecstasy watching these VODs. TY Mr. Chae, Afreeca, Tastosis, etc.
Was that really a rant? You seem happy more than anything
Btw, you are 100% right, BW is the only esport I have been able to consistently watch/play for years. Quake (and a bit of cs1.6) came close but BW is just something else. BW will always be back and forth in nature because of the pathfinding and the limited unit selection that creates skirmishes all around the map rather than one big fight, and it's just SO fuckin great.

I dont think its necessarily the pathfinding and unit selection limitation. The units are simply well designed and work for many small skirmishes. Its all the unit interactions as a whole as well as the macro mechanics which allow for the constant back and forth.

You are right, it is more than this but it is part of it. And yep, the unit design is incredible, that's why we have those small skirmishes, it's kind of hard to explain but anyone who knows bw know what we are talking about. And we can add the defender's advantage to all of this.

GTR: Wait, you're not coming back anytime soon? That means you won't be casting SC2 as well? That's such a pity, I really enjoyed your cast - very informative and insightful. And loving your voice too!
BD: Time for you to move to Korea and cast too!
So stoked for you guys

What is dead may never die. BW was never away, just a bit further away from spotlight (;

well, being a PvZ grave deluxe, i think the map is a bad choice for ASL. It doesn't make sense with respect to the number of qualified Protoss players, overall quality of protoss players and the result of VNSL to pick a map, that is THAT bad for PvZ.
