Chojja has played 1 OSL Final and 2 MSL finals, winning one of the MSL finals. (Nada/Nada/Saviour) Savior has played 2 MSL finals and won one of them. (Reach/Chojja) Gorush has played 1 KT-KTF final and 1 MSL final. He won the MSL final. (July/Nada) July has played 4 OSL finals and 1 KT-KTF final and won 2 of the OSL and the KT-KTF. (Reach/Nada/Goodfriend/Iloveoov/Gorush) July really stands out. Someone please correct me if wrong. (I am counting the former KPGA as MSL btw) EDIT: I stand corrected. | ||

It would be monumental for Yellow to defeat casy and take down his first championship ever. Moreover, the competition has been unusually fierce this starleague, with oov, july, boxer, and pusan being eliminated fairly early by rookies. (Yellow[name] > oov, Yellow[name] > july, Shinwha > pusan etc etc) Currently, Yellow's ZvT stats are 50-39, 56.2%. In his last 10 games, Yellow is 7-3 vs terran! On the other hand, Casy has demonstrated that he's a wicked good player himself. Being a ridiculous practice machine, his TvZ has become stronger and stronger. We've has several glimpes of this skill via Casy's proleague matches, but today we will see his true form. His current TvZ stats are 12-5, 70.6%. In his last 10 games, Casy is 7-3 vs zerg! Although Casy clearly has a better win rate, there aren't enough games to know whether he's consistent or not. On the other hand, Yellow has a wicked scary consistent 50-39 record. In their last played match, Yellow defeated Casy, but this was about 2 years ago in a starleague game played long ago on Nostalgia. This match will probably be 3-2 in favor of the winner. Even if it is 3-1 or 3-0, i expect some ridiculously strong play from both players. MATCH STARTING NOW GLGLGL! :D | ||

He did win Snickers league which was his last big accomplishment. Wasn't Snickers only an invite tourny for the the most consistent players of the last 3 starleagues that year? Yellow played a beautiful safe/aggressive opening w/ 12 pool 12 gas fast speedlings --> expand. Casy played a very standard 8rax fast academy build to put on some early pressure. Things took an interesting turn when yellow snuck a ling into Casy's base to discover casy was giong for a 1 rax 1 factory ultra fast tank push. Rather than combat the push directly. Yellow morphed lurkers in the middle of the map and performed a small counter attack early, enough of a counter attack to force Casy to pull back his initual push. From this point on, yellow turned the pressure to max until the game was over. Yellow proceeded to perform nothing but direct attacks on Casy's base. Yellow even managed to take out the neutral buildings on BOTH sides of Casy's base. Every time Casy tried to attack Yellow, a stream of units walked directly into Casy's base from SOME direction. The critical attack occured when Yellow killed 6 supply depots and the academy. Casy was still holding on w/ a larger ground army. However, with so much action the observers never got a chance to check Yellow's main to see the hive and defiler mound already finished. Within seconds, swarms covered Casy's natural in a beauty of Orange and Casy. With no natural, a dwindled ground army, and swarms at his front. Casy was forced to GG Yellow 1 > 0 Casy | ||

[commentators Cassy's lack of scouting/knowledge of Yellow's Expo to 4 hatch build hurt him.And Casy is a T who enjoys his micro fights so Yellow fed him micro fights up the ass ALL over the place. They got Casy Drunken with Micro so they say. And 815 is next. Casy is winning this one -_-;; 90% Win Ratio for Casy plus his 815 is SICK. Yellow has only 7 games on 815 including midas and gf wins, and 815 as a map has T lead in stats but the Sin version of the map has made it far more balanced with the games being very tight | ||

This is a build similar to Iris vs Chojja. The build is actually a good build vs Casy's FE build... And opening builds on 815 are huge. The double expo build is better to fight with fast tech or fast upgrades, but Casy FE'd. They also say Casy has shown Drop Power on this map and this switch up is -_-;; for Casy. | ||

Casy spawns @3 Map is Rushour III Personally i think these positions favor Yellow slightly. For, Casy will early expand. At this point, Casy MUST have MnM defending the northern exit to his @3 expo because it is the closest path towards yellow. However, this will leave the south/more vulnerable side for the expo CC much more difficult to defend. - Casy's hesitation was death. - Casy coulda won with the early game. - Yellow, on this game, finally flexed his muscle. - Medic#, Overstim, and 11o clock Sneak for Yellow were big factors. - Byun coach and KTF coach coming out. - Seriously, they are saying Casy's opener shoulda sealed the game and it was a beautiful rush. - However, that one miss from that early all-in cost him. - Coach Byun was even smiling expecting the game to be sealed with Yellow's build cuz Casy had the perfect counter and fucked it up. Wow... what a great series. - They say even Monkeys fall from Trees, and that was Casy's falling as a monkey moment ~_~ - However, when a monkey falls, usually someone pushes the Monkey off they say. ... They really like the monkey in the tree. As they show the rep - Double stimmed rines, plus 1 final stim at hatch, and that over stim with 1 medic = DEATH. -Still, a killer fuckin build, but they mention how to be able to put out a play like that, you must risk something, and that was Casy's overstim to get the rush in on time. The Commentators are really impressed with the series and saying Yellow is playing like himself and carrying his own style to make it 2-2 vs Casy who.. they love his control of ~_~ - Both players are probably in deep concentration and replaying the games over in their games. - The Games Casy has gone hardcore aggresive and said let's fight fight fight on, he has lost. However, when he has stayed cool and systematically approached Yellow, he has won. Hmm....... OMG. Highlight of the SL definately so far. | ||

Casy building his rax in a very very defensive position, directly to the right of his minerals. Yellow doing the same build he did in game 1: 12pool 12gas, probably fast ling speed this game. | ||

Yellow still makign speed zerglings. Academy at 50% for casy. It looks like Hatch will finish in time for yellow. Yellow attacking the neutral buildings in between @12 and @9. Academy is now done for Casy. | ||

besides yellow played a lot of pgt some seasons ago and wasnt just a guy "gl hf go gg" he also talked if you had a question etc. and he talked and played a lot with fisheye. he also never said something bad about other pro gamers etc. in my eyes he is very mannered but i dont know him so its just something i guess ;o | ||

- oooH~ 12 pool with fast gas.. Hmm. - Both using a different build from the original game. - When facing Z, sending a scout to the far side can be helpful in finding overlords and that's why Casy did so. - Since 9 pool is a lil poor, 12 pool gas + nat = a lil slower but richer for Yellow. - They also sorta chuckled bout Casy not being intimidated or pushed back easily. He relies on his control to push forward. - Similar gameflow to game one they say . Oh gyaaad ~_~ The Tension this game - Also, Casy needs to scout harder and faster this game instead of letting Yellow get away with 1 base 4 hatch like last game. - Also the hanbang rush timing is very scary. - Also, 4 sunkens, not 3, 4 4 4. | ||

Go watch it live Testie. It was tense. I was rooting for Casy .. I think? and I felt the games were very shaky. Think of RH and Peaks, they coulda swung either way in seconds. EXTREME danger in all games imo. Knowing the results ruins any series. | ||
