We can discuss removing at most 6 maps, so it will shrink into 16 maps and have 3 or 4 mapvetos. But I wont go down any lower then 16. Please do not see me as an authoritarian orga (since I let you decide pretty much like everything in this league, beside of this), but as already said I will not remove more then 6 maps.
You can state here the six maps you do not want to see in this league (besides non-removeable maps: FS, Jade, Othello, Ride Of Valkyries [one map per each generation of maps]).
Please now refrain from further convincing me into lowering the mappool any more. If there is no 100% needed change, I will not remove more maps. You can also state if you want 3 or 4 mapvetos.
Also rotating maps in a set maporder will not be done, since the majority did not want it. And besides, this is a real nice factor to have as a teamcaptain. With this option you can still train special maps for special matchups (and even special opposing players). I'd be fine if that's the case, wish to remove: iCCup Blue Storm iCCup Electric Circuit iCCup Neo Medusa iCCup OthelloiCCup Gladiator iCCup Ride of ValkyriesiCCup Sniper Ridge iCCup Python

EDIT: Draft order details are on page 7.

Hi everyone.
I'm really impressed by how professionally your events are handled and I'm interested in getting involved in future competitions.
I've been playing the original Starcraft since it came out, but I've avoiding most online competition because of how immature and vulgar it usually gets. I'd really like to work with other friendly players to gain a better understanding of playing Starcraft: Brood War competitively. I'm a big fan of the franchise and one of my long-term goals is to get a replay of a fun game from every one of the Blizzard maps. But mostly I just want to enjoy spending time advancing my skills with others.
Please contact me and let me know the best route to get involved. Thanks.

Has a lot of information. If you're a total beginner to BW competition the recommendation I would choose is joining sGs, getting on iCCup, and PMing/messaging people on Skype to see if you can play practice games. sGs thread is here:

If you think you're ready to compete in this DRAKTL all you need to do is announce your intent to be a free agent (with iccup name, rank, race) before teams are finalized and you will be drafted or placed onto a team.

Thanks. i understand why you say most online competition gets immature and vulgar but imo starcraft is an exception. if your playing right you shouldnt have time to be chat bm'ing your opponent haha i remember in dota there would just be a wall of arguements while playing but youll find bw requires a lot more focus on the game

@Pucca I will not add another map, if all are talking about removing maps
@all Since I saw some of you picking non-removeable maps I will state the quote here:
You can state here the six maps you do not want to see in this league (besides non-removeable maps: FS, Jade, Othello, Ride Of Valkyries [one map per each generation of maps]).
Please just edit your post, if you included one of those four maps. No need to post here again. And be sure that I will get every post since I announced that you can remove six maps. Just edit them
Also another "issue" came up. Team NW Power's captain Sinedd wants to add another player and since it is from a community, I think I will allow it, but revoke their rights to draft anyone from this drafting list. What do you think about it? (Also Sinedd, you can state here if this is okay for you).
