Sziky has been in top shape. He's dropped a single game against AstrO and a single game against Pro7ect and is branded the favourite to win it all. Sneazel on the other hand has been impressive as well. Game named him as one of the upcoming talents in his BW Progamer thread. He was the underdog vs trutacZ (?) and Michael but his victories over these players gained him a lot of fans in the Round of 8 polls. I think this could be a surprisingly close series. I'll give the edge to Sziky, but with Arbiters and Dark Archons on the fields, anything could happen
The big question surrounding this match will doubtlessly be the following: What race will Kashu play?? Will he pick Terran as he did against Whistler? Use his Comeback Kid Protoss like against Technics? Will he pick to try and do what Bakuryu couldn't? Or will he take his chances and go for Random? My personal guess would be Protoss. Ace's ZvT against Patron and ZvZ against Bakuryu looked absolutely beastly, while Kashu's showing against Technics was also impressive. Maybe he'll let the maps decide? In any case, both players are gonna have to bring their a-game as the Sniper Zerg faces off against the Comeback Kid.
The absolute and most important rule is that LRM)Game holds full discretion over ISL2 decisions and procedures.
You must use chaoslauncher for 1.16.1 or MiniLauncher for every group stage and tournament game on Fish server.
No smurf accounts. Your account must be played with your known ID in it. If you are found out to be smurfing, you will be disqualified and no further participation in the tournament will be allowed. If you are worried about which ID you should use, PM LRM)Game at account Game on teamliquid.net. If you feel that not smurfing gives you an unfair disadvantage, you must appeal to LRM)Game at account Game on teamliquid.net. We will then give you a predetermined smurf name. Failure to comply will lead to disqualification.
All names must begin with ISL2. Ex: ISL2-Kaalveiten ISL2_NoOne [ISL2]Sayle.
If you want to make a new name, you must inform us.
In order for previous hackers or abusers to play in ISL2, they will need to provide certain things to LRM)Game or Hakurei[AoV] which will be handled on a case to case basis. All discretion for this is held by the ISL2 Counter Abuse Team.
No hacking or abusing. This is very very basic. No multiple or shared accounts. No letting other players on your accounts. No taking free wins from friends. No selling wins. No playing against your own account. If suspected of abuse, failure to comply with ISL2 staff will result in a disqualification from the tournament.
All Kaal's International StarLeague matches must be played with a referee present.
No Korean IP addresses.
All ladder replays must be saved for your own safety and submitted at the end of each stage to LRM)Game at isl2replays@gmail.com.
Any major issues that concern anything to do with names, rules, or disqualification, need to be PMed to Game at Teamliquid.net
All games must be played on /dnd mode. You cannot use the same map twice.
Anything a referee tells you during the proceedings of the matches goes; be very attentive to the rules they announce per week. Additionally, rules might have slight alterations throughout the entirety of the tournament.
Scouting via gases, observers over turrets, hold position lurkers, all variations of legal play are allowed.

If Sneazel wins this it'll be unbeliveable. I read a bit that a lot of people want to help him with practice. I predict very close match between Sneazel and Sziky. And I just love map pool. But I wouldn't love it if I were solo toss in semi finals vs best foreign zerg. Especially La Mancha, Rush Hour III, Destination.
some sad maps;/ Also I know that Game is pretty intimate with Desti, no wonders as a terran player;) rushhour3? Worse map for PvZ? Huge ramp, no way to make a block for FE..
besides that, gogo Ace ! and I am unsure if I should root for my fellow protoss player sneazel or for sziky, whom I kinda love;d
I am Hungarian and I will definitely tune in! I'm very proud that we have 3 semifinalist in this awesome tournie and as always, a huge thank you to all who made ISL2 possible! Look forward to some awesome games!
Was trying to help sneazel but I don't think he will have sufficient time to practice, expecting 4:0 for sziky in this circumstance and ace/kashu is going to be very close. Maybe 4-2 for ace.
Kashu vs Ace... I think Ace has a very strong chance to taking it, but ill suerly will want to watch my old friend kashu and my ex-team mate Ace battle it out. Its a bit sad thou that they met before finals. Gl HF both Guys!

lol no, Jin Carrier OSL was enough
Zerg must fucking win!!! Come on, highest number of semifinalists of ALL races and one title only... wtf.
sziky looked a little weak in gameplay against Pro7ecT imo (compared to what I expected from him), which rates my thoughts of sneazel's chances a little higher but then again sneazel did alot of cheesy stuff from time to time which sziky probably saw, too, and as he did it against two Zergs he might be prepared for it and use proper scouting;)

I figure the last thing you said to be true. Sziky doesn't get flustered in his game play from what I've seen, he'll scout it all out.
If Sneazel = Schnitzel in english, then i think i may have a song for him but is for schnitzel itself not really for the polish player but i think is cool and may be played like a intro or something..

Totally agree, even though I don't frequent this part of the forum all too much (or BW games overall) Sayle is probably the funniest commentator around, and he really made me excited during yesterday's GC! :D

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT SneazeL could not play today. The match, as agreed by Sziky, is postponed until Sunday (tomorrow) at 16CET. It will be casted live on Sayle's stream.

Does this mean Ace vs Kashu will be aired at 19 CET (in 20min) instead?

p.s, enjoy my sig, i'm sure you'll find more than enough information there for your arsenal.
I dont get it. You explain how you cheat people out of playing ISL because of a personal vendetta, Clan leagues, ICCUP, bypass bans, etc... I don't see how this is LRM)Game being exposed any more than you. You pretty much directly talk about how you personally wanted to abuse and cheat, how you went through with it, and you say "Game you are despicable?"

I'm not understanding...
i've already been exposed so i am re-iterating everything that happened. LRM)Game on the other hand has never been exposed, he time and time again talks about how he and his prestigious team has a clean slate, when they don't. many teams have been screwed over due to his(our) abuse. he's a scumbag that tried to steal money from me and if he wasn't worried about tainting his reputation, he wouldn't nuke/ban my posts the moment i post them on the Streams. it's a crabby world we all live in, double-standards and hypocrisy just happen to ease in whenever drama is present.

On the other hand, whats up with the schedule of ISL. OP says one thing and really there's another time. O_o
Games ended quickly. Not sure what happened with your times but the TL Calendar was spot on for me.

They played from 19:02CET to 20:08CET. That local time thing is always wrong for me, too. It's +1 hour, and I think it only readily identifies CET properly. All matches of ISL and ISL2 have always started at 19CET, however.
Oh shit maybe this engine is not aware we do not transfer to summer/winter time anymore and, therefore, was mistaken by an hour. Fuck, that was unlucky.
I felt terrible:D I felt like this was my 1st tour ever and my hands were shaking in 1st two games ;p I didnt know how to suprise Sziky so i didnt played nothing special.. Sziky is the hardest zerg i know GG's and gl in final

If this was your first tour, it's even more impressive that you made it so far. Wish you would've made it to the finals, but one can't have everything, I guess. GL to you in the in the game for 3rd/4th!

Sneazel I was disappointed at your games I thought you played extremely well the first game but I don't know what happened after that. I was gonna write you a theme song for the finals :/

ZvZ is a good match up to watch imo, though the bad games are reallly bad.. I expect 4-0, which in this case the matchup will probably amplify my sentiments of how this series will turn out as far as entertainment. However, I'm REALLY excited for Kashu vs SneazeL, so its not all bad.

i wonder which series would most of us want to see if someone posted a poll on rather they would see sziky vs ace or sneazel vs kashu. fortunately we are blessed with both but still struck by curiosity.
