If he had gotten a third base and droned after his first round of mutas Fantasy wouldn't have been able to leave his base. That was a huge advantage. He got SCVs, killed all of the marines, and forced a shit ton of turrets that would have been useless if he had done anything else. You need to read my post more carefully and think about what my position is. (Hint: I'm saying that Perfective had a much better path to lategame than Jaedong did.)

KT coaching fail. It's unreal... SKT was bound to send someone with big stage experience first, Fantasy being the best choice, KT sends a rookie :|. And now Bisu gets Crazy-Hydra... yeah. It's not so much as a SKT coach triumph as it is a KT coach fail, so sad.

What was his mistake really? Yeah, maybe he could've been a little better, but I saw no glaring mistakes. The zerg rush just didn't do quite enough damage, and Fantasy defended well. What? He killed a ton of marines, which meant that Fantasy wouldn't be able to move out comfortably for quite some time. Especially with mutas out and stuff. Instead of capitalising on this and taking an easy third, he did an all-in. And it didn't work out.
by the time he committed, it was already too late to switch. perfective never had a timing window to switch because all of his mutas were very low health.

It did plenty of damage. When you see the Terran hide behind 15 turrets and two bunkers off of 2 rax, you expand and drone up, then destroy him lategame because all his strong timings are messed up. In fact, Hyuk did this very thing against Flash. I don't think that's necessarily the best decision. Either way, it's razor thin; you can't blame Roo for that.
Remember the lings in the beginning means fewer drones at that point. Also, Fantasy basically hadn't lost any econ (maybe 1 scv?). It takes time for the zerg to get his econ up at that point. You try to expand against a two base terran with plenty of scvs won't guarantee anything.
I call it a well-played game that you just lose. No shame in that.

Only if it goes to the Ace match i.e. at 3-3.

All those zergling that got suicided in the end there, could have been drones powering up his economy. I dont understand why he just cant try and switch up instead of just keep doing an all in when his initial plan didnt work. Wich was to do enough damage with his lings and delay anti air defence so his mutas can rape. But when that didnt work why keep doing it?

If he didn't continue to only pump mutas, fantasy would have moved out and just killed him. He had to keep going with it.

No only in case of an ace match. If it is 3-3 it comes down to ace match. Then you can send out a player who has played already.

I can see how not taking more bases while containing with mutas was a huge mistake by Roo, but was it really over? :O
(silly sc2kid asking this) it was an all-in 2 hatch muta, quick and deadly, Fanta did a greeeat job at not dying. Roo just didn't have minerals for any more units, he had to push more lings in the beginning I guess, but .. well maybe someone who's B will clarify. yes, expanding and droning could do the trick, but Roo underestimated the situation a bit.
I remember JD doing 2 hatch muta as a standard BO (no all-in), but with a higher drone count.
