How the fuck is it possible these events are happening at PERFECT timings? Nobody has any malfunctions at any points in the game when nothing is happening or its equal footing which is the huge majority of the time, it's always been exactly after some major event. That's a massive coincidence if its the case. In the worst example EffOrts mouse supposedly stopped working like 13 minutes into the game right during a major battle. So out of any possible time during the game, it happened just then. Right.
Tbh, I really think they are just lying about it just to get a re-game.

I don't understand why JD went for that build on Bloody Ridge. If the enemy's ovie goes straight for your main he gets to see all your reinforcing lings and it's a long rush distance either way. He also left 2 lings attacking the nat when it was 3 lings to 3 at Hydra's main.

Pretty sure there has been instances of computer malfunction during "normal" gameplay, it's just the crucial one that comes to mind. The Leta PP incidence is one of such case, and I remembered it precisely because Leta was disqualified for using pp instead of ppp, which is something that's pretty huge.
Representative heuristic much?

Seriously, a lot of bugs occur at other times too, not just in the middle of a battle.

It seems that all the top guys didn't went 0-2 yesterday too lol
I'm still in 7th, and the ranks haven't really moved, from what I can see.

Jaedong, please recover soon.
On another note, is it just me, or is 9 pool speed being punished a lot lately? I seem to recall Zero losing to Hogil with this BO as well.

It doesn't seem to work as well any more, you seem to need 2 hatches in the majority of cases these days in order to win due to the massive amounts of zerglings and scourge being created. I actually thought JD was trying to pioneer this (or at least was one of the best at this) so these 9 pool speeds from him lately are odd.
It has to be noted though that JD only seems to go 9 pool speed in ace matches. He won against Modesty, on a 4p map in close positions after a lucky scout, lost after a hard fought battle against Zero on a 3p map and got pretty much raped by Hydra, on a 2p map. Based on that, he should seriously consider just stop doing it, that 4p map win was lucky, his lings arrived before the hatch was even at 50% and Modesty already had 6-8 zerglings.
Then there's the possibility that JD's micro/ZvZ is slipping and he's trying to force it back up by doing crazy micro intensive builds. Only time will tell; I'm very interested in seeing what happens in the next JvZ ace matches, we're sure to get a lot of them this season

Now that I think about it, that map does have some ridiculous rush distance to 9 pool...
But yea one can't help but feel bad for JD, every match is an ace match for him in the sense that if he loses, his team (probably, highly likely) will lose the series. How many players have that kind of responsibility? Flash? At least he has Stats.
Still can't believe OZ lost after all that, watching it live was heartbreaking. Reminded me of the R1 vs Stars game too, and not because JD lost with the same strat.

The rush distance between maps has been significantly increased, therefore, nerfing 9pool speedlings.

Yeah, I found it weird that he's been going 9 pool speed so much lately, given the maps. His micro seems fine, but his choice of BOs and decision making, on the other hand..... These losses in ZvZ ace matches are making me worried. I was so sad this morning when I watched it live.
I really, really hope his ZvZ isn't slipping, especially considering his OSL group has 2 Zs, one who knocked out Zero, and the other who beat him in a ZvZ Bo5 some time ago.

I'll have to remember to watch Horang2's game when I have time, reading the LR it sounds pretty epic.

Sometimes, say during moving a bunch of zerglings to an opponents base, a player's mice/keyboard will bug, but it is so insighificant that they don't call for the ref. When they have a problem, they will play it out and see if they win, but if they don't then they will report it.

Skyhigh stimmed right when the lings were running in, too. Did they say exactly what was wrong with his keyboard?
(also wasn't flash's monitor turning off because he jerked when he saw incoming units and stomped on his monitor cable or something? either way it's a lot more obvious to the observer when his monitor turns off than when a keyboard or mouse is supposedly not working properly)

I think in group matched JD will just go 12 pool. Or at least in one game he goes it. If I were JD i'd go 12 pool against first zerg, and 9 pool against the second just to troll them :D (as they would think I wouldn't 9pool again, and if even would, then not in the last group game :D )

And. I think Zergs forget about the, maybe, safest build in ZvZ. It is 12drones+scout (maybe 7th or 8th). Guess what? You just go and see opponent's build! And if he 12 hatch, you 12 hatch! If he 12 pool, you 12 hatch or 12 pool (if you just saw the absence of hatchery at expo). And if he 9 pool, you 12 pool!
Drone scout sacrifices economy A BIT, but what is it compared to standard bo disadvantages, where you are back by 3 drones, not one!
I think Zergs should think about using buillds than involve scouting in important matches!
