Seriously. While Killer is full of failures, this guy's play seems surprisingly mature, even if sometimes he makes mistakes. But I think he has strong psychology - not every Zerg would have at least gotten back in a game where protoss had like 5 bases to his 4 and killed like 30 drones with storm.

I'm not entirely convinced of that, although I think he's got the #2 amount of wins for Oz this season (or at least #3), which is kind of sad. Horang played poorly from pretty much the late midgame forward. He had great harass at bottom right, although he over-committed to it a bit, but he managed to take a 3rd at the time putting him on even bases. He even expanded well and harassed quite well, but he just sat in the middle of the map the entire game until he finally let alone win. Horang lost that game more than alone won it.

Come on guys, there a reason why Hite sent out Hydra instead of Leta at Ace. This is because ZvZ is probably the worst matchup where a C+ iccup player can beat a Progammer Zerg due to the luck nature of the matchup. Of course I'm exaggerating a little bit but you get my point.

Lol, i rewatched and get back my words. JD mismicroed and made bad decisions. =/ I mean, not overall bad, but bad for jaedongish level. And not that the micro was so bad, but not good either, and better micro could have saved him until mutas were out.

Be happy Flash that you're disposed of the urge to handle the same amount of responsibility for your team, since it's almost 100% that they won't reach the Ace and go 1-4. -_________-

Especially when your team lacks Z killers. Skyhigh is like the worst TvZ player amongst progamers in televised games, the map doesn't have a ramp so Leta can't use 2port which is really his best bet for his TvZ, Movie sucks, Snow's PvZ is his worst matchup, etc.

Might as well send a Zerg where you could possibly win with a build order advantage.

What happened to Horang2 in his game? =\
Looked like his keyboard lost power or something. No army movement, no productions anywhere. Mass cannons to the point where he tried to cannon rush in late game. Losing those observers was part of it, I'm sure. Why no goons at all? Poor fella. He really wanted to win that game and when he didn't it broke his progamer heart. I'm sure his PvZ will improve a lot and two months from now he will be dealing the hurt to zergs everywhere.

So Jaedong says he's kinda sick on Twitter?
Wow, that really sucks. I believe him on it, considering what happened last March to him. I really felt like something was lacking in his play recently, and that and the losses to Flash may be the cause.
Hope he recovers soon though.
If you are not Bisu, chances are I hate you.

I have no idea why JD is choosing to 1-base recently. Early lings do nothing these days, even against a 12 hatch. An even dumber decision considering the loooong rush distance of this map (especially if you are scooting overlords by running an S-pattern).

Just really disappointing considering the comeback Oz made to get it to ace.

I'm not too worried about JD losing these matches in ace anymore; he's not the "win 100% of the time JvZ", he's the "win 80% of the time JvZ" and he's right on schedule in his last 40 matches. These 2 ace losses are simply arriving at a condensed time due to the fact that his team can't win it before ace and the volatile nature of the match. Maybe he just had a bad day. If he loses the next one though with a 9poolspeed, I'll worry more.

Also, Angry-Hydra

Jaedong ZvZ is really slipping. Lots of mistakes in vs Yellow, vs Zero, and vs Hydra in this SPL

GUYS HYDRA IS ONE OF THE BEST ZERGS AROUND. STOP SAYING HES BAD. HIS ZVZ WAS HIS BEST MU BUT AFTER AN UNLUCKY RUN, HIS PERCENTAGE WENT DOWN.
seriously guys hes beaten jaedong before and beaten others in a dominant fashion.

Yellow, Zero and Hydra are all good ZvZ players. When JD loses to Action or something, I'll worry a lot more.

Jaedong is 4-2 against Hydra, all games played this year. He even won their other proleague game this season. There's hardly any cause for worry, yet. I think the better zergs are simply catching up a bit rather than Jaedong slipping. Again, next JvZ ace should determine whether or not I'm right or wrong :|

Or maybe Leta has never won against Jaedong ever?

That was a coincidental time for a keyboard malfunction wasn't it. Out of all the boring times during a game that could happen, it happens in about the space of 5 seconds of lings running into his base. Just like previous malfunctions, Eff0rt losing muta battle then his mouse wasn't working apparently (that kept him in the OSL that he won eventually) and Flash's monitor turning off when his first Valkyrie is killed.

How the fuck is it possible these events are happening at PERFECT timings? Nobody has any malfunctions at any points in the game when nothing is happening or its equal footing which is the huge majority of the time, it's always been exactly after some major event. That's a massive coincidence if its the case. In the worst example EffOrts mouse supposedly stopped working like 13 minutes into the game right during a major battle. So out of any possible time during the game, it happened just then. Right.
