Yes. Sea added salt to the injury by claiming that he was amazed by Jaedong's play, that no zergs during practice managed to do as well as him. Now, Sea was always the first to admit the imbalance between the two races, but when he feels like a certain strategy is impossible to break on this map, and that this was about as well as any mortal could have done, you know the the balance has been shifted quite a bit.
I personally thought Jaedong could have done better, and was more impressed with Zero's play. However, there's something seriously wrong if all that's needed to secure a win for a terran player is to be competent enough.

Yeah, but Sea would be in that Ro4.
Minds around the universe would explode. And explode again. And again.

Wow. That says it all really.

To be fair to Sea even he admits it:
Terran has an advantage over Zerg Odin:
I think there’s some racial imbalance too

Oh wow at the results... lol at TvZ. and forgg T_T

Wow, all Terrans in Ro8 have like more than 65% vZ except Fantasy. Only Terrans Ro4 inc.

Infested Terran.
Do it, Jaedong. Do it.

Not really. If you get the wrong position you loose anyway to muta harrass and if you have the right one it still is almost impossible to hold. The problem is that there is no real way to defend because marines can't come close enough. There are 3 wins for t on this map and 1 was with wraith against an outclassed opponent, 1 was hyuk not playing starcraft and the last one was sea who just barely held the harrass of with a huge investment in anti air that could have been exploited with a techswitch(he had like 5-6 minutes time for that)

Man jaedong outplayed sea so bad....fucking mech switch. Also out of 3 TvZs, terran won. ZvT is in such a bad spot now

I set my alarm to get up for this, but it didn't work. Sad to see EffOrt lost, but at least he played a sick game.
And the OP says this is a Bo5? I thought it was a Bo3. But that's much much better if it's 5.
|
Oh my god.....these results are not what I wanted to see....was hoping for at least 1 Z to win.... Can someone explain what happened in games 3 and 4?
|
Wow. Second worst LR thread, ever. The worst being this. Fanboys need to fist themselves. Sea and Light are great players, and really, guys, Effort's TvZ is just painfully average on whole. Light, with his unholy TvZ, could probably beat him with any build on any map. And it's not like Effort and Jaedong even played amazingly well, anyway, so don't act like it's some great crime that they lost

So after a decade tanks suddenly overnight turned imba? This isnt SC2 folks, complaining wont change anything. Though JD pulled off a sweet pincer, he could improve his game, that big attack into Seas natural was kind of pointless as it was mined out, and the chance of him getting to the production facilities were = nil. But yeah. The bio into metal transition seems to be ahead of the curve atm, so the zergs need to do something different. Btw why did JD build the greater spire when he never even got any guardians or devourers, was it for upgrades?
The one fight where JD sent like a gazillion units into Seas tanks was gut wrenching. You just cant attack the tanks from the front like that, since it will never be cost effective and then the terran just wins in the long run.

Funny thing is, I am usually butthurt by mech-terran gayness. But the gayness in this one was so sublime, I was in awe. I never thought anyone could out-gay Flash when it comes to mech-terran (case in point the recent TvZ vs Zero), but now, I can't help but award the Gaylord Mechfaggotsen award to Sea for the gayest mech this year.
