That was the single most beautiful game of Starcraft I have seen this year. AMAZING. HUGE props to Flash for pulling this off. Innovative, coldblooded, impenetrable. I know many will hate, but for me one of the best, maybe the best, game of the year. It was ART.
Btw. that the majority votes "NO, dont watch this game" makes me sad T_T. Go play SC2.

Augh... seriously, guys. Once more, Zero should've tried guardians and queens and later tech switched to muta instead of suiciding a SHIT TON of untis into that defense. Zero had the income so there's no excuse. Flash had quite a few close calls with those spider mines. Had Zero tried broodlings, things may have been different.
This reminds me of the "ZvP is broken and imba" argument when protoss players haven't even implemented the dark archon. Until ALL options are exhausted then and only then will we be able to say X is truly imbalanced.

Lurkers wouldnt even get through the mines. I think the key to the victory for Zerg was bloodwhite terran in mid game. When the game came to late stage, it was clearly end for Zero.

In most tvz's that are like this one (terran turtles with mech while slowly taking the map, zerg has the whole map and is trying to stop terran from expanding more), the zerg inevitable runs his units into spider mines. It is damn difficult to avoid running into mines.

I've never seen that many turrets and mines before in mid-game. I think Flash's defense, although boring, was key to being able to win 4 base vs 6.5 base. All the static defense boosted his supply to really something that is almost impossible to engage as a Zerg. Most spider mines are inefficient, but sometimes 1 mine = 2-4 supply of zerg units. Those along with turrets killing all those overlords... Flash had about 300 "supply" worth of attacking power.
I think Zero still had a chance at winning, he was still mining minerals from about 4 of his bases before he GG'd. He might've had enough minerals and depleted gas mining for 1 more big attack.
Overall Zero's engagements with overlord dropping and swarming were some of the most beautiful attacks I've seen in TvZ. Highly recommended game showing superb defense and awesome battles.

I think Zero should've made lurkers.. Burrowed lurkers under swarm are a complete bitch to kill. (Watch Action vs Flash on Roadrunner). That, or guardians... mmm..
In all honesty though, Zero's control was amazing. Anybody who's ever played ZvT knows that controlling a 200-food zerg army with a ton of lings is insanely hard.
That was a pretty boring game to watch but Flash held it off really well.

I wonder if he should have dropped Flash's main where all supplies were. But there were probably 60000000000 turrets in the way. Also, not nearly enough swarms vs mech.
If you see Action play, he has like a 1:2 defiler:ling ratio and swarms a fucking road to your CC and goes for the workers, not for the tanks or turrets.

Are you trolling? You try controlling 100+ lings while dropping 10 overlords individually (unloading on themselves) and casting 5 swarms like Zero was doing.
