Jokes aside I can only imagine that he thought Action was reinforcing his mutas, and his 5-6 golis and lack of turrets in the main would hurt too much. I might be wrong but I thought he had around a ctrl group of golis there (at Action's third), with basically no damage on them. Funnily enough he lost anyways. | ||

The problem was he didn't know how many sunks. He may have been able to break with only one sunk there but he had no way of telling without pushing his goliaths too far forward (as he had no SCVs to check it out). That's one of the problems with mech, really, there's no scan for those early game pushes. He had no way of knowing if there was more than one sunk, any zerglings (Which would've wrecked the push as well), how many mutas et al. If he pushed it was basically all in, from his viewpoint. | ||

I meant that second and third round of vultures that got like 3 drones total. You sacrifice a lot of goliaths purely in production time and that many goliaths is really important early game. :> The first vulture attack was alright. He caught action off guard and stopped a lot of mining. But producing vultures after mutas spawn is kind of silly unless you do a lot of damage as there's no way to prolong a lack of mining. | ||
