Jokes aside I can only imagine that he thought Action was reinforcing his mutas, and his 5-6 golis and lack of turrets in the main would hurt too much. I might be wrong but I thought he had around a ctrl group of golis there (at Action's third), with basically no damage on them.

Choke + Sunken (he didn't know if there was one or more) + a control group of mutas = dead goliath force.

I don't think Action had a ctrl group of mutas, and even if he did alot of them were weak from harassing the main. One sunken (which he would've seen) was there, and I think he could've done alot of damage.

No, man, that choke is nastier than it looks. Mutas would wreck goliaths trying to push in, especially with sunk support.
The problem was he didn't know how many sunks. He may have been able to break with only one sunk there but he had no way of telling without pushing his goliaths too far forward (as he had no SCVs to check it out). That's one of the problems with mech, really, there's no scan for those early game pushes.
He had no way of knowing if there was more than one sunk, any zerglings (Which would've wrecked the push as well), how many mutas et al. If he pushed it was basically all in, from his viewpoint.

I meant that second and third round of vultures that got like 3 drones total. You sacrifice a lot of goliaths purely in production time and that many goliaths is really important early game. :>
The first vulture attack was alright. He caught action off guard and stopped a lot of mining. But producing vultures after mutas spawn is kind of silly unless you do a lot of damage as there's no way to prolong a lack of mining.

Okay sure, I'd agree with that. But sKyHigh really had three/four turrets, when eight-ten was what he needed to delay for a vessel.

The time his factories spent building vultures was time they spent not building goliaths. His vultures came nowhere close to paying for themselves.

Past few weeks there has been lots more bunker rushes then usual tvz, because there has been so many things on at once, flash has been doing them to reduce practice time for that event, or to hide strats

There's 9 pool or 12 pool fast mutalisks, but those don't come up often. 12 hatch is indeed the standard opening in ZvT.

12 hatch is like rax cc tvp, except obviously better since you arent playing vs a protoss
its a slightly risky econ build that puts you on a level footing with an opponent who plays completely standard.
its a reasonably safe build vs most aggressive things as long as you dont cut too many corners and play/scout properly, but if they do a really strong cheese (forward 2rax or 2gate) you're probably gonna die.
