12 hatch is not the tried and true standard. I mean it's a common build but it's more a case by case scenario.
I don't think 12 hatch is particularly standard on 2 players maps where it's INCREDIBLY easy to cheese. It also shouldn't be standard against upmagic on a new map because you fucking know that mofo is gonna do something crazy.
though to be fair it is pretty standard on four player maps, but upmagic should always be an exception. As someone said before, Upmagic was Flash before Flash was Flash.
