Jaedong > Stats : Ez pick. If there is a MU we KNOW JD is a monster in still, it's ZvP.
Hwasin < Kal : Dunno, P > T plus Kal is just a better player atm.
Kwanro < Light : Kwanro has always been overrated to me. Light isn't playing the greatest recently, but he is just a better player and he is terran .
Best > Flash : I think this should be obvious for TODAYS matchup. I'm not saying Best will win the bo5, but Best should be the heavy favorite today since 1. Flash has said he is basically not praticing for this game 2. Best is best against Terran 3. Flash is worst against Protoss (meaning he kinda needs to pratice) and 4. Flash rarely plays protoss recently.
Best should win tonights game simply because of FLash's complete focus on the OSL. If Best can't take this game off of Flash, then he has absolutely zero chance at winning the series.
i could see light-kwanro going either way, but as much as people are saying it i just cant see best beating flash, at least not game 1. heres hoping for ggs!

lol yeah, winning both. But if you have to pick one, osl by far.
I would even go so far as to say winning the MSL is harder. the Ro8 in the MSL is BO5 as opposed to the BO3 for the OSL. Also, I believe the qualifiers for the MSL are more rigorous.

Since only one person wins in either case, out of the same pool of people, they are equally hard, by definition. In what sense is it "harder" to win a Bo5 than a Bo3?
Because it requires more preparation and in depth mind games. I think the msl's format [if they got rid of the split b05's and b03's] is better. But, because the osl more prestigious, the better games are usually in the osl. Since everyone prioritizes that over the msl.

Flash will play against Calm on the 1st of January. I will lol, if Calm manage again to win the league because of the overburdened schedule of his main opponent.
agreed this too hard to be prepared for two leagues
Disagree. Let's not forget that it was around the GF of proleague around that time so most of JD's practice time was going towards there. Flash has it a little bit easier right now. I think he'll win both leagues.
Q: Tomorrow's MSL game will be the last of 2009 A: I think it's helpful that the MSL series are split. Because I always have a next time for the MSL, I can prepare for that comfortably. My focus will be on the OSL ro4. I hope you look forward to my games on January 1st.
I'm just getting this out of the way now, but Best should smell cheese coming from a mile away tonight. There's an extremely high chance Flash is going to try to end it early. He should see it coming, and so should everyone else here, he has only himself to blame if he doesn't expect it.
Flash has a Bo5 TvZ the day after he has ONE game of TvP in the less prestigious starleague. Cheese is extremely likely so that he doesn't have to practice TvP as much until after his Bo5 with Calm.
