2. You need to think from the beginning where you fit your buildings. Meaning that you need to figure out where you fit those buildings too that you're going to add in late game. If you'r bad at it, you might consider practising it before playing with opponents. 3. Question fail. too much map/build/situation specific. But be sure you know where opponent's army is before you move anywhere. That's a must so that you don't get caught offguard. 4. defend it lol? in TvP, have your tanks properly placed and mines properly planted. if toss decides to attack, unsiege tanks and vults from further and bring them defend. see how toss units melt/retreat without killing your exp. if you have a possiblity to prevent toss from retreating by planting mass mines behind them, then do it. also when toss attacks think if you have possibility to vult raid somewhere around the map. Protoss should be able to kill your units when your sieged. if that happens you were already behind or you can't just micro and manage your army properly. in TvP you don't need more than 3CC before you have big enough army and at least 3-2 upgrades so you can move out. In TvZ, dont let zerg attack with full force to your exp by pressuring zerg constantly and not camping inside your base. in late game use lots of mines and constantly irritiade defilers becouse you can't stop zerg at your exp if he gets swarm there. This question needs speficic situation if you want more specific answers. 5.yes that's about practise and knowing when it's a good time to concentrate on macro instead of other things. making a round of units shouldn't take more than 1-3 seconds tho. unless you have 99facs/raxes. always remember to be sure that your army is safe while you're doing something else. if you have shitload of gas then you're propably doing something wrong, unless you opponent does something where you only need to respond with non-gas units :O but then your opponent is doing something wrong :D 6. slow push? no tricks, just good micromanagement and army control needed. be sure to think good places to plant mines. and plant enough of them, dont save mines with vults, use them all ^^ if not for the push, then in other stratecig places around the map. 7. what mu? what air units? in what part of the game? don't attack if you can't kill it or deal enough damage. timing!. 8. You need to have those turrets up before he has mutas there. That's why you scout for spire and time you turrets so that they're ready before his mutas reaches your base. not when spire is still building, but not after his mutas is in your base. But before they are there. There's a lot of guides for builds that usually have turret timings too vs different zerg builds. 9. mines, vultures, scvs, scans, any air unit(if it has nothing better to do). Dont expect to have any sort of permanent detection on the map, becouse that's not possible without maphack. but be sure to scout a lot! his build and his exp timings. Otherwise you can respond properly. I hope I helped! I wish you good games and fast improvement!

and for resource management, just try to always have ur factorys/rax making something always, and always be making scvs as well, good macro comes with just practice theres no secret to it and for scouting just put mines everywhere, put mines where you think his army will be, and put mines where expansions can go. they will get killed but it lets you know where his army is and if he might be expanding. also ur terran, use scans. i hotkey my scanners 0 9 8 so if you want to check for an expansion/army just 0s its ez. gl, terran is very hard, not for noobs the guy above me pretty much said everything i said but still, remember you will get better as you play, no matter how much you read/know about the game you wont get better unless you play games!!

For new players, Terran and Zerg will take a lot longer to master because they involve very subtle things that make a big difference in games. As Terran, you have to "know" when to have certain units ready, or detection, or when to attack. Your army has to be positioned in a certain way so that it won't get destroyed and so on. All these things tend to be subtle and come from experience, which you're not gonna have in a few weeks. This plus the high apm requirement makes Terran pretty difficult. Or play Terran in sc2, it's the easiest race.
