and it's incredibly difficult.  I have to this day as far as I can remember never lost pvt nostalgia, and tvp there I've lost like 10 games maybe, and I've played more pvt. =(so basically, it's really hard. but an extremely good push can be successful. cross positions makes it somewhat undoable though. | ||

you need to vult harass like a bastard while massing hardcore. if they start grabbing expos its time to get desperate, this is when you should push, tornado style, while expoing once or twice more. you should have some mines down already because of your vult harass. if you time your push really well and macro well you can win with that alone. you might want to slow push a little to get past your bridge, but besides that, i wouldnt worry as much about pushing as i would about preventing expos. another thing is drops, get 2 ships full of tanks to aid your vult harass, 12 vults +4 tanks takes out almost any expo, they cant hold the choke. the key to good terran is good harass | ||

you just need to do something amazing with vultures because you won't have the gas for dropships you'll probably want to 2 fact vult expand then pray to god he loses something to mines, because if he plays perfectly safe you basically have no chance | ||

Other positions its really hard.. i think u need a very good 2 fac push to kill him early or give him a disadvantage.. They key is to get enough units to break through and reach the middle, where u build mass turrets and put all your forces and simply expand everything and build more and more units.. If you want to much and move forward to his base, he flanks you and you are death.. if you wait and build up a nice containment and expand, all he can do is wait or make the fault and try to attack which is in 99,9% unsuccesfull ! The most part of my story depends pretty much on positions.. hopefully you find yourself at top and him at bottom or the other way around.. | ||

try to take the middle with the gosu terran.. if u build there depots and turrets wise and you have good vulture and tank control you simpley must avoid the toss to expand and expand yourself.. But thats all pretty easy to say.. and hard to play.. I couldn't disagree more, building in the middle is idiotic.. Im' a toss myself and if I saw a terran building in the middle I would circle around using the small ramp path from the closest gas expo. it's pretty tough, but if I were you try to harass alot with dropship while taking a gas expo first; I've gotten beat twice like that on nost. | ||

I just tried an idea saw on korean vod and i adapated it to me : i usually fast gas on nostalgia ( i mean i gas just before the baracks) then i fast expand, second factory , u have then 2 facts tanks, as soon ass u have about 5 tanks 2 more factos make rspeed mines and produce 4 facto vulture till uhave about 7/8tanks ( which is very unexpected by the toss o n this map cause of the lack of gas )7/8 vults : go + 4vcs and push (It sreally quite fast and u willpush with 7 tanks when most of toss will have only les than 8 goon and starting b3).Then u ar eable to own th emidlle , ormaybe better u are just afte rhis bridge . | ||

In short, you want to prevent toss from being able to dominate the middle. Place mines at all the expansions, use bunkers on rushes, if it gets to 1 base vs 1 base go 4 factory 2 addon (Nostalgia main has 9 mineral piles, or 1500 more minerals than a main on LT. This plays a large factor in determining builds) Unless I'm playing someone who is significantly better than I am, I rarely lose TvP on this map. If anyone wants some reps or pointers, feel free to PM me ( = I don't claim to be great, but I understand the game a lot better than I play it. | ||
