So today I played a TvZ on Destination where this guy Chulet[join] http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/gamingprofile/chulet[join].html 5 pooled me, but I was quick enough to put up a bunker and load a marine in it right on time and defend.
While this was happening my scouting SCV killed 4 of his mining drones so only 1 remained. On his second attempt to break my bunker with 1 drone and ~8 lings the drop screen appears right when its clear he won't break it. The countdown runs to 0 and the Drop player button activates, but pressing it doesn't work (yes I tried it multiple times). I think: "ok, I'll just minimize SC and browse the net a bit and see what happens". Sooo... after about 7 or 8 minutes I see the game resuming so I make it full screen and continue playing.
As you could have guessed, he was so much behind and this point it wasn't even funny, so after a about a minute the drop screen appears again, also with non-working Drop player button, but this time without countdown. I revert back to browsing (I wasn't in a hurry anywhere ).
After another 5 minutes the game resumes again and I finish him off. In the end he types something in korean and leaves without a gg... Wait, he doesn't leave.. he drops again, but this time the drop screen has a countdown and when it runs out the button is functional.
I didn't get points but its not a problem for me as I don't care about such silly things as ranks and points, but what is annoying is that hack he used to fool SC that he dropped, but in reality he didn't.
Such people make playing online less enjoyable

honestly i find koreans to be the most bm and immoral when it comes to ladders
oblivion vs friends, oblivion in casual games, rigging maps, abusing, map hacking, bsing in pubbie 2v2s, etc list goes on and these ive seen from my friends.

Are you using ICCup antihack? It should have a fix for the drop button not working.

That's mostly due to there being literally no 14-year old or younger players outside of Korea.
Trust me the manner level among foreigners will drop drastically as SC2 is released.

Are you sure it's even a drop hack? lol It can just be a simple disconnector/pull plugger. People do it all the time in DotA. You just disconnect your internet and that makes you lag out.
edit: I read again. Yeah that sucks. The first two times I have no explanation, but the third is a disconnect.. such BM. I actually played a Korean today who kept saying "sex" and sucks so much. He then proceeded to make like 2 pylons around the map to keep from dying. ==||

No, I'm on Mac and ICCup staff is still refusing to make an OS X version of AH.

i have experienced ICCUP hack before which is kinda odd, its not a drop hack but it still odd.
i played against this toss, he goes fast DT, i defend, succes, then a text appear on my game screen saying "hacking tool have been detected, you have been disconnected", or something like that, and i was like, "what the hell?"
just when i,m about to leave the game, i realize that "if i have been disconnected, why am i still in game?" something doesnt seem right.
i then decided to scan his main and to my suprised the game was still on, his probe is building pylon here and there
so yeah, i rape him with vultures drop and allin after that, and since he expect me to leave the game after seeing the fake text, he didnt macro that much of a units.
not only does he hack, he also leave without saying gg. BM

That means the server went down. Don't bother trying to get any points the admins will never accept a 'your connection has been lost' related complaint, since after all being their fault the server goes down can't reimburse those who were playing? But it's the gamers fault, they should have known the servers would go down randomly at certain points of the day

Thank god sc2 will fix this (though not being able to play rated games against specific people you want has always irked me... though I know its easily exploitable).

If he has lost point, there should be a game in his matchlist. I would assume you could report such a game and prove that you won via replay.
Luckily I never had to check if this actually is the case.

It could be that he just doesn't want any viruses or uses it for work as well, because fact of the matter if you're being stupid on a mac your chances of getting a virus are far lower than if you're being stupid on a PC.
Reason being nobody owns a mac.

I always figured koreans to be the least bad manner, cause they are mostly playing in pc bangs. Hacking in a pc bang with everyone walking by? How embarassing. Also, I figure they dont end up doing the whole, lifting off buildings, or hiding pylons everywhere, because they are paying by the hour and just want to start playing their next game asap.
I guess if you are 14 or something and hacking, you probably think you are awesome, and assume everyone who sees you hacking, thinks you are awesome as well.

Koreans are funny when they BM as well, its like watching a 2 year old trying to swear.

It sounds like alt + f6 I think. I think 1.16 patched it though, but you could just hold down alt + f6 and it would freeze the game and the other player would get a dropscreen but be unable to drop you.
