Daum OSL 2007 - GGPlay - Cornered to 0:2, he woke up to the face of his dad in the crowd. 3:2 win. During the interview, his dad said that he was a good student but the family could not afford university. GGPlay also confessed that sometimes he would lose games due to hunger.
So1 OSL 2005 - Anytime - His first OSL. Nobody thought he would survive the group that had Yellow. He survived indeed and defeated the best TvPs (Xellos, Oov) to the final. The opponent was Boxer attempting the return of the emperor. 3:2 win. Embracing his coach, Anytime broke into tears.
Olympus OSL 2003 - Xellos and Yellow - The newcomer Xellos defeated Yellow. Xellos' expressionless face turned into a smile, and the crowd turned into tears as he said the following: "This is all because of my mom...mom....I love you..." - On the first set, Yellow used Zerglings rush and almost won. However, Xellos typed "ppp" and asked for a rematch due to a problem. Yellow accepted it and ended up using the strategy he had saved for the fifth set on the first set. He won the first set but lost the fifth. "Maybe I didn't try hard. I will do better the next time," he said. The curtain closed, and on the backstage was Yellow shedding tears on his sleeve by himself.
Nada's Golden Mouse - After his dad passed away to an accident, he had suffered from seemingly an endless slump. The opponent was Anytime who had defeated Boxer at So1. 3:2, the fifth set won by Nada's magical timing. "This honor...this honor I present it to my dad in heaven..."
Question for sky_slasher: are you human, or a Korean-English translation robot which spends all day grabbing content from Fomos and posting it in OPs at TeamLiquid?
Maybe you should try to do a better job of sourcing your content? If Fomos (or its posters, for the random images you post in your blog) ran across your blog or BW right now, they might have some issues.
That said, I really appreciate your translations of important Fomos articles (such as the "Battle Royal Gone!" one). Thanks for those!

Yes I am a robot!!! jk...I'm a human being, kinda between jobs, my new job starts this coming Tuesday so after that I won't have as much time to post! I really love reading SC stuffs (obviously!)

Plus a lot of my stuffs come from user bulletin board, so the publications rights issues are not as strongly worried as in the case with materials generated by Fomos reporters and staff...also I don't merely translate like the OSL emotional moments I compiled buncha things edited and put my own twist...but your concern is understandable and I will be more careful!
Iris played some absolutely spectacular Starcraft back in 2006. He was Really near the top, but he was heavily eclipsed by 2006 GOD. After losing in the OSL semis, I cheered from him for the bottom of my heart and Really wished that he wins the next OSL. When I saw he lost I couldn't believe my eyes, and I felt so much spite and anger towards GGPlay..
...however, Only I saw him running and hugging his crying father.

lol oh man back then iris' TVT WAS SO OWNAGE OMG and i didnt know about yellow...
T_T i miss yellow still even though hes coming out on ACE
omg..i was watching the so1 OSL finals game 5 Anytime vs Boxer MUST WATCH game at the end where Anytime leaves his booth to hug his coach you could almost feel the emotion
July vs Best, Second match when July does his drone drill and the camera shows Bisu expression. That's not the same kind of emotion that the OP means, but that was pretty awesome to me (zerg fan).
I felt so sad for Stork after he lost to FlaSh and so happy when he finally got his OSL. Also JD's Ever OSL was very emotional, from both Stork's and JD's side. And poor Fantasy Imo NaDa's golden mouse was the most emotional moment in SC ever, AnyTime smiling at that moment is priceless.
I love AnyTime's win. It's as if he is so overcome with emotion that he needs to hold onto his coach so tight so that he won't collapse. Very special moment.
This may be MSL, but I love the look on Saviors face as he loses to Bisu 0-3. Best moment in all of SC history, truly. Witnessing Bisu completely destroy and dismantle the best zerg ever gave every single protoss hope and confidence to finally turn the tables in PvZ.

i belive that he said that when he won the WCG 2004 vs midas

It's so exasperating.
whoa whoa wait what? when did this happen?
Dunno vs who, but the game was bugging + dropscreen came up; YellOw was clearly behind so he just gave up the match instead of asking for a re.
He got an ovation for it (but lost the damn game).
He's also a complex player. He notably did not do the same for Stork some years later, and did ask for a rematch (which he won IIRC?). And he dropped a game to eliminate BoxeR from OSL.

Hi! Thanks for reading my post. Well, he might have said that I love mom stuff at WCG 2004, but he definitely said that when he won OSL. Check 3:03 of this video:

Yeah that was really priceless! That expression said so much! It just goes to show how strong July's ZvP was at the time, when Bisu's jaw litterally drops when he's thinking "daaam I don't want to be in Best's place right now, I would have been totally screwed too!".

You're quite evil : ) I'm not a savior fan, but having been a competitive athlete I can't help but feel really bad for anyone who invests so much into a competition but comes short of his goals.
sAviOr vs Iris Bo5 in Shinhan 3. Not only was it phenominal, out of this world, true heart and guts Starcraft, but the look on Iris's face after the game ...... people always tell you that if you give it your absolute best, and play 110%, you can do anything. Iris did just that, and he lost, and being confronted with something like that can be pretty draining. He is unable to even look sAviOr in the face when he comes over to shake his hand after the game.
sAviOr's expressions are also great. For a player known for being completely emotionless, especially in a victory, it shows just how tense the game was to see him slump his head down on his headphones and breathe this huge sigh of relief, followed by raising his fist to the fans.

When Jangbi got silver in the Lost Saga MSL he kind of reminded me of Iris at that moment. He couldn't even show his face anymore, he looked like a lost child.
It isn't of similar epicness, but speaking of Savior, I remember a game (I can't seem to recall the exact details) after his slump has started where he was sent out for an ace match in proleague playoff ace game(?) after he lost a game in the match (the ace was a ZvZ) and he won, then broke into tears. You could see how he and the fans have felt for a while, the realization of his lost bonjwaness in that moment, and it was truely sad
dude. awesome thread. i thought BOTH of Jaedong's OSL win's were really sad. I cried during both of them haha. Maybe its just cuz i'm a ridiculously huge Jaedong fan. But nevertheless they were sad.

Wait, you are a jaedong fan, and you were sad that he had won the OSL? >.> You are a weird one.

One of my favorite moments in eSports history, this was during the Proleague playoffs against YellOw[ArnC]. There are very few other moments that give me goosebumps every single time I watch them.
sAviOr burying his face in his hands after his 3-2 win against Iris in Shinhan3 and trying to hide his smile was also pretty emotional.
NaDa and July's golden mouse wins were also fucking charged with emotion, I love NaDa sprinting out of his booth to hold the Golden Mouse up to the heavens for his dad. That is the heart and soul of progaming embodied.
Does anyone have the video of Nada winning the golden mouse? I tried to find it but i only found one with disabled audio :/ Does anyone know what game?

Immediately after his win against Anytime in game 5 on Tau Cross, Shinhan2 OSL
